The Plazamar Apartments are situated in a central location, only 300 metres from the beach of Santa Ponsa and 26 kilometres from the capital, Palma de Mallorca. The Plazamar is located 100 metres from a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
Facilities that the Plazamar complex offers include a bar, two swimming pools with children's section, sun terraces, children's play area, money exchange, luggage room, pool tables, lounge with satellite television and internet station There are two lifts. For entertainment there is a regular entertainment programme.
The apartments are on four floors and each of the 94 apartments has a bathroom, terrace or balcony, satellite television, telephone, air conditioning and safety deposit box. As the accommodation is on a self catering basis, apartments also have kitchen areas with fridge, electric hob, toaster and microwave. It is possible to have one or two bedroom apartments with twin beds and convertible sofa beds. Free cots are also available.

The Plazamar I stayed at bore no resemblance to reviews here at all. Check out some other review sites as I'm not the only one that hated the Plazamar.
In short, its a hole. Very old fashioned rooms, sheets with stains and holes in, bath that had dirt from previous residents still in and maids that chat and do no cleaning.
Avoid this place. There are plenty of nicer hotels in Santa Ponsa.

I have to say that as this was my first time in Europe, I was a little nervous as to what I'd find but I have to say that the Plazamar were fantastic apartments! Really safe and there was loads of entertainment for younger kids!
I'm 17 and although it's mainly family orientated, I found it just a nice place to chill out!
And, the most important, the night life is near by as well as the beach so its all round an excellent place to stay! I'm trying to book it again for this summer because I enjoyed it so much! Fingers crossed!
