Review title: "Palmanova Hotel Is A Nice Family Hotel"
Travel date: June 2007
We just got back from the hotel Palmanova Majorca and must say we had a nice time. Everyone was friendly, plenty of daytime/evening entertainment for all who wished to join in. We travelled as a party of four adults and two children and the entertainment team tried hard to cater for all.

The hotel is clean and food was okay too, although could have been better, very basic! The pool area could be improved as not enough sun beds available. The English are getting like the Germans - lots putting towels on as early as 6.00 a.m. and not many parasols which were desperately needed. Would we go again ? Don't think so but it was okay.

Review title: "Good Family Hotel"
Travel date: June 2007
This was our first time going all inclusive. The Palmanova hotel was very clean. Food was plentiful and very good choice at all sittings. The pool was quite large and always manned by a lifeguard. There was also a small pool for the little ones. The beach is only five minutes walk away and Magaluf is only 15-20 minutes away.

There was always entertainment on morning and afternoon for adults and children. Evening time started with kids' disco followed by bingo (which my wife won 180 euros at - paid for all the presents) then on to the show.

I personally could not fault the hotel and its location. The only thing I would say is the bar staff need to learn to smile a little bit more. The owner of the hotel, who is English, is there every day so if there is any complaints she is on hand to deal with them. Around the pool there are a lot of sun beds but you need to get up early (7ish) - its the English, not the Germans. Overall our family holiday here was great and would go back.

Just got back from Palmanova hotel. Great hotel, great location, staff all very nice and helpful. Food was nice, maybe a bit repetative.

If you go, you have to check out 'Banana Joes' and 'Cheeks', and also 'Stadium' on Monday night when 'Want You Back' ('Take That' tribute band) are on.

Review title: "Palma Nova Brill!"
Travel date: May 2007
Just got back from Palma Nova hotel. Been here before and enjoyed every minute of it. This year the entertainment team was a lot better than the last. Very chilled out hotel, meals were fine, plenty of choice to suite every one's taste. Staff were friendly and the reps were very helpful. The bingo is well worth a go! Also, if you don't go to any other shows, the 'Pirates' Night' is a must, well worth the money and a fantastic line up of acrobats and all round good humour. Kids and adults will enjoy. Will return in the near future!

Review title: "Palmanova"

I would like to let you know that I just arrived home from the Palmanova hotel two days ago and couldn't wait to get home. I have stayed here before and this year was the worst.

When we arrived, our room was not ready until 2.30 p.m. which meant we had to sit around for two hours. The food in hotel was the worst it has been and was the same most nights. The restaurant staff were so unpleasant (e.g. I asked for jam for toast and was told the kitchen was closed and this was at 10 p.m. and food was served until 12 p.m.).

The security, when needed at night was never to be seen and you had to go looking for him. The amount of times things were thrown off balconies and hit people and nothing was done about it.

Entertainment from Rui etc was the highlight of my holiday. I can tell you one thing, I will never be back in the Palmanova hotel again and this was my fourth time here. I am very disappointed and think you have over rated the hotel and food.

P.S. I know there are a lot of people that feel the same as I do and hope that the manager takes notes on peoples' reviews.

Review title: "Substantial"

The hotel was adequate. A nice place to go to kick back and relax and to basically just 'chill'. But I have a few cons that I would like to go over...

1 - State of rooms. When we first arrived for our two week stay, the rooms were almost immaculate. Everyday cleaners would come about midday and then leave, but all they would do is change our bed sheets and replace our towels. They never cleaned under the beds (looked as if the floor had never been cleaned under there!) or wiped up any marks on the floor, walls etc. As well as some small cracks in the balcony and some of the walls nothing else was too bad about the rooms. It was ok.

2 – Food. If you are used to eating different and fancy food every night, you'll be in for a shock when you find out that they serve practically the same food everyday with some slight variations in the menu from day to day. It's ok for an all inclusive. (Meals are much better than the 'snacks'!)

3 – Bars. Getting as many drinks as you want is great. But no one likes it when they find something dirty floating around in their cup now, do they? This happened to me three times on my stay at the hotel. The first time happened on the first night! It would be better if they actually cared to look to see if the cup is dirty before giving it to you.

4 – Lifeguard. Lifeguard? What lifeguard? It's clearly stated on all the pool's safety bill boards that a lifeguard is always on duty when the pool is open. Not once did I ever see a life guard when I was at the pool. Think about it, it doesn't take someone without half a brain to work out what will happen if something goes wrong.

All in all, the hotel is alright. There are plenty of activities to do outside of the hotel so not all your time has to be spent there. I hope I haven't put you off your stay at this hotel with my intolerant whining. I must say I did enjoy my stay regardless of these points and I hope you do too!
