"Oasis Lanz Club"

Just back from yet another two week stay at the Oasis Lanz Club apartments. What can I say but absolutely fantastic - the great weather, local restaurants, friendly staff in the apartments and first class cleaning service in the apartments each day. All of this made the holiday once again very enjoyable and can't wait for the return visit next year.

"Oasis Lanz - Bad Communication?"

Here goes.. We booked the holiday in December on the basis of the 'aclimatised' swimming pool and asked three times prior to our departure if the pool and accomodation in general were in order. We were told yes everthing was fine. When we arrived we saw a notice saying 'aclimatised pool broken' and under that notice 'satellite tv broken'. As we had only just arrived we could tell our holiday was going to be a bad one!
When we stepped into our apartment overall we were impressed. It was a good size, the kitchen facilities were good and wardorobe and storage space was brilliant. After being awake for 10+ hours, we decided to go to bed early. After one hour of being asleep, the three of us were absolutely freezing, slept in our jeans and coats and the next day went to reception and asked for four blankets which were in permanent use for the ten day holiday. The weather was very bad although nobody could help that but having to stay in our rooms for most of the holiday, it became extremely boring; no tv and most certainly no pool!
After a couple of hours rest, we decided to go to the bar in the reception block. The time was approx 8:00pm and we had a couple of drinks before going back to bed. At around 9:30 the bar was closing without any notice. With only five or six people in the bar anyway, there was no calling of last orders etc. Just close the shutters and walk off! We found that most nights we went out to a local family bar 'The Jug & Platter' which was very good with quizzes, Sunday lunch and lovely all day food.
Towards the end of our holiday we were very disappointed and started talking to a couple that took their 88 year old mother and they were trying very hard to keep their mother warm because of the extremely cold weather. The first night we were excited to get home really. Thunderstorms expected for the rest of the week. We were very excited!

"Oasis Lanz Club Appartments Are Lovely :)"

I love going to Costa Teguise. I have been loads of times now and stayed in the Oasis Lanz. The evening entertainment is not as good as it used to be, that I can remember, but it is still a lovely place to stay. It is not far from the evening bars and the beach is only around the corner.
