The aparthotel consists of 221 apartments distributed around several blocks with a maximum of two floors. There is direct pedestrian access to Matagorda beach. Totally renovated in 2003 - 2004, this Sol aparthotel offers two swimming pools surrounded by panoramic terraces with sun loungers and parasols, garden with areas for strolling and relaxing, a varied day and night entertainment programme with professional shows, gym, jacuzzi, multi sports court, tennis court, restaurant serving a breakfast buffet and dinner, pool bar, lobby bar and mini club for children aged five to 12 years.
The Sol Morromar offers seven studios, 194 one bedroom apartments and 20 two bedroom apartments, all with a terrace, bathroom, kitchenette, television, telephone and piped music. Besides the bedrooms, the apartments offer a sitting room and safety deposit box (with supplementary charge).
Board basis available at this aparthotel is self catering, bed and breakfast, half board or all inclusive.

We stayed at the Sol Morromar for Christmas 2006. Apartment was clean, well equipped and a short walk to the promenade and small shopping complex nearby.
Enjoyed the hotel and Matagorda so much we are going back in October and again at Christmas/New Year. Recommend the Apartments if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday.
'La Brisa' restaurant in the shopping complex is first class. Food is reasonably priced and of good quality. Staff are so friendly and welcoming.

We stayed at Sol Morromar for two weeks this summer. We had a fantastic holiday, very relaxing. Matagorda is a lovely quiet place to relax. I was impressed with the shopping centre which is five minutes from the hotel; it has everything you could need - great shops lovely food. The Chinese in the centre was fab and the beach was just over the road, which was lovely clean hot and safe for the kids. The road to the beach was very quiet. Can't wait to return! See you next year!
