The two key Las Gaviotas Bungalows are situated directly opposite the beach, in front of the maritime promenade and only few minutes from the centre of Puerto del Carmen and close to the shopping centre of Matagorda, which offers supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
The Las Gaviotas complex has 155 bungalows, all equipped with one or two bedrooms, sitting-room with sofa, satellite television (at an extra charge), telephone, kitchen, safety deposit box (also at an extra charge), bathroom with hair dryer and furnished terrace.
Facilities at the bungalows include a restaurant offering buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, a snack bar, pool bar, seven swimming-pools, three of which have children's sections and four of which are heated during the winter season (November to April) and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. The complex also offers a 24 hour reception desk where there is internet access.
Board basis available at these bungalows is self catering, bed and breakfast, half board or all inclusive.

We spent a week at Las Gaviotas. It was a great complex - very friendly staff and the bungalows were great and very roomy. Could not find fault really and was very sad to leave yesterday.
We were in Las Gaviotas 1, which was right next to the promenade - lovely for great sunny strolls and enjoying those sundowners at the nearby complex.
Restaurants there are great - a very high standard of food. ‘Matagorda Steak House' to be recommended. Breakfast at ‘La Brisa' could not be bettered - three euros for a great fry up. All in all, cannot recommend strongly enough.

My wife and I have stayed in Las Gaviotas on three previous occasions and had the most enjoyable and comfortable holiday. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bungalows are very clean and have everything one needs. The pool and restaurant are first class and the sandy beach is almost part of the complex. Shops and bars close.
