The two key Altamira Apartments are situated a short distance from the shopping centre and beach front of Matagorda in a slightly elevated position.

The complex consists of 24 units on two levels and facilities include a swimming pool, children's pool and television lounge. Guests staying at the complex can use the facilities of the Morro Mar Hotel, which provides evening entertainment and has a mini market and tennis courts.

Apartments at the Altamira complex are equipped with a living room/lounge area with television and sofa bed, kitchenette with breakfast bar, two ring hob, toaster and fridge, a terrace and balcony. There is a cleaning service five times per week; linen is changed once per week and towels twice a week.
