While staying at the Monte Parasio Apartments during the first week of October, we found it very relaxing. On a self catering basis, the room had basically what we needed for the week with the exception of no toaster or kettle.

The view from our balcony was superb as we had excellent views of Puerto Rico town centre as the complex is situated at the hilltop. Even though the complex is at the hilltop, a walk down takes about 20 minutes but I would suggest a local taxi back up, which would cost you about 3.00 euros.

The complex has a swimming pool which you could spend a day relaxing at as it has a pool side bar which offers refreshments and snacks. Guests can also use the Riosol Aparthotel swimming pool which is next door but we found both of their pools to be quite busy at times.

If you need any information from reception, I would use the helpful staff at the Riosol as the reception at the Monte Parasio was closed the whole time we were there! No problem with cats or cockroaches in the complex.

The apartments are an ideal walk to the Europa centre which has a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a mini golf complex nearby for the children.
