The three star Amstel Botel is a floating hotel with 175 rooms.The hotel opened its doors more than twenty years ago and is currently moored at Oosterdokskade, just a two minutes' walk from Amsterdam central station and a five minutes drive from the ring road A10.

All rooms in the Amstel Botel have an en-suite shower/toilet, satellite television with free in-house movie, telephone, radio and safety despot box. The Amstel Botel has four types of rooms each with two kinds of views. Guests can choose from rooms with a canal view or a land view. The different room types are: single rooms, double rooms, twin rooms and triple rooms with a bunk bed and a single bed.

Facilities at the hotel include a breakfast restaurant, bar with television, pool table, pinball machine, jukebox and internet access.
