Arrived at Ses Savines in early afternoon with friends to find friends booked in to self self-catering, even though we had paper work showing we had booked half board in hotel. We were given a room on the first floor over looking the bay but the room stank and locks on patio doors were non existent. We ask to be moved and were told it would cost eight euros per night. We were shown two rooms, one on first floor and one on third which we moved into after paying 112 euros. Complaining made no difference. Even rep said the room stank.

Maid service was good and waiters very good. Hotel at night very noisy. Pool area good. Reception and help from management nil. Would not go to this hotel if they paid me.

We stayed here for two weeks and it was the best holiday we have had. Lucho the entertainer took my son and daughter under his wing, he is great. Antonio and Miguel are mental (in a good way). We stayed elsewhere on the island the year after but had to go back to Ses Savines to visit. Antonio and Miguel remembered us all and were giving the kids ice cream and crisps. We have booked up to go back again next September (can't afford to go away this year). Staying in the hotel this time instead of the apartments. My son says the food is lovely (we met a couple from the Midlands who were half board who stay here twice a year) and they took him for breakfast. Being a family of six, the price is just as cheap as staying self catering. We would recommend staying here to anyone as the hotel is clean, comfortable, the entertainment is great and the people who work here are the friendliest we have ever met.
