The pool was just beautiful and the walk down to the beach takes 20-25 minutes. We went with the children for about five days over the two weeks. The Torre de Andalucia is an aparthotel and many of the flats are owned as holiday homes so the rental company rents out their own and occasionally rents for other owners.

Ours was a bit bare. We asked about an iron and we were delivered one within an hour. The bar/restaurant owner was a bit miserable and had the habit of closing when it was not busy. A bit frustrating when you were expecting to pop in after a long day out but there are several good restaurants and bars in the immediate locality and all very reasonable (more so than the one in the building). If you go there ask for 'Los Faralillos'. There are several bars nearby. 'The Den' is a bit of an Eastenders' haunt. 'Yves Bar' down the hill was great and 'Port of Call' at night was an amazing drinkers' experience.

We hired a car and visited the local Selwo wildlife park, the aquapark and the large children's funfair in Benalmadena. There is a local municipal bus that runs to and from Puerto Banus and San Pedro where we went jet skiing for the first time ever. I could have done that all week.
