On arrival, the Mimosa Park hotel was too far from the resort, lifts not the best and room poor - dirty underneath the beds. Beds uncomfortable, liquid stains down the wardrobe doors and soiled underpants on top of wardrobe (origin unknown). Lights in room poor and balcony lights not working (informed that they had not worked for some time).

Breakfast consistently the same every day. Evening meal prepared Spanish style for a mainly northern European palate. I survived on salad all week.

Review title: "Very Poor"
Travel date: September 2009
Me and seven of my friends stayed in the Mimosa Park hotel for seven nights and could not wait to go home. Where shall I start? First of all the bedroom was a disgrace - chewing gum stuck on the wall where the pull down bed was and the air con - well lets say, my hair dryer did a better job set on cool - we had the air con on continually with the patio doors shut thinking that once we returned from a day out on the beach we would come home to a cool room. We thought wrong. It was hopeless and we all ended up with chest infections caused by the air con.

We was half board which meant we were able to have breakfast and evening meal, which we thought was great for us girls thinking we would save on money and not have to eat out each day and night. We were wrong again. The breakfasts were OK! The evening meal was, lets say, even my dog would have turned her nose up at it it was that rotten! Disgusting! It even made me sick. When I asked for a glass of water they replied in such a ignorant way to say you have to buy water from the bar at 1.50 euros. I was shocked that they didn't do water as an all inclusive.

Staff at reception were not helpful at all nor the staff in the restaurant - very, very miserable and no friendliness about them. The only people who where friendly were the maids - they were kind and very caring. This is when I would leave them five euros each day and they did a brilliant job.

So as far as all us girls are concerned, we will never ever go back there again, not even if it was free. Very disappointed. Seven very angry girls.

Review title: "What A Great Hotel"
Travel date: August 2009
We stayed at the Mimosa Park Hotel in August with our two children aged ten and seven this year and would definitely go back again. When we arrived we were originally allocated twin bedrooms on the top floor however, when we explained about my son having special needs, we were immediately relocated to a large family room on first floor with two bathrooms and toilets etc. - excellent! The hotel staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.

The food was very good and with lots of choice for kids and me, who is a vegetarian. The entertainment staff were out of the world and so friendly and good with kids.

The hotel itself was clean and very pleasant and rooms were cleaned daily. Pool area was nice and the lifeguard kept a watchful eye on the children. The other guests were really friendly and sociable. Would definitely recommend this hotel for families!

Review title: "Awful"
Travel date: July 2009
My daughter and I decided to book a holiday break and stay at the Mimosa Park. On arrival, we were allocated our rooms. However, as we walked down the main corridors, we were horrified by the filth that surrounded us. There were stains all over the carpets and there was a lot of damp within the hotel.

Our room was mortifying. There were urine stains all over the toilet seat, rust all in the bath and dirt everywhere. The wardrobes were falling apart and were also dirty, the bed covers were boobly and basic and the only piece of furniture we had was a battered dresser.

I wouldn't rate this hotel as a three star as there was also poor food choice and poor food quality. We requested to be transferred to another hotel as there was no way we were staying in such a pig sty. If you are looking at staying in Palma Nova, I wouldn't advise anyone to use this hotel.

My friend and I stayed at the Mimosa Park last summer for two weeks as a girls' holiday . We spent a fortune on getting taxis down to Magaluf as there was nothing in the area and our friends were staying down there. We spent most of our time in another hotel down there.

The food overall was not bad but when you are eating the same thing every morning and night for two weeks, you tend to get a little sick. The worst part was the air con. It does the job keeping you cool but my friend and I managed to catch tonsillitis from it. Mine was so bad I had to be operated on within a month of coming home. I suppose this hotel would be fab for families but teenagers and probably 20's should definitely look into staying in Magaluf.

Travel date: June 2008
The Mimosa Park is a lovely hotel and the food was great. My only concern was the variety of people there families (great), elderly (great), couples (great) and stag parties (bad)- which I might add were running round the pool with everything on show, bearing in mind there were kids there and shouting in the restaurant. This hotel should be cautious about letting groups of lads in as it's going to spoil the hotel's name. We ended up going to our friends' hotel day and night, out of the way.

If you want a boozy week without sleep, this is the spot for you. Hen and stag parties galore that drink all day and night. My wife and myself stayed there for two weeks. The hotel caters for all inclusive parties who drink from 10 a.m. to closing time then head to Magaluf returning at 4 a.m. to wake everyone trying to sleep. It is pointless approaching the management because they do not want to know. They are only interested in filling rooms.

The hotel is clean and the food is good. The bedrooms are good and well cleaned each day, bar staff friendly but restaurant staff are downright rude and need to be taught how to treat guests. Towels in room changed each day but are not properly cleaned as we had some left with excrement on them.

Overall the Mimosa Park hotel should look at it's policy at letting all inclusive guests take over the hotel and spoil it for other guests.

Our room was kept clean with clean towels every day. Staff were very friendly. Emma the rep was excellent!

Food was OK, but much of a muchness. Walls were that thin you could hear every sound from next door!

The hotel is out of the main area uphill a little and not suitable for disabled people. There are
nine floors and one lady who uses a stick to walk was placed there. One day we had no electric so therefore no lifts - I shall say no more !

There were lots and lots of hen and stag groups who were very noisy and nothing was done to sort them out. We will not go back to the Mimosa Park.

When we got to the Mimosa Park, the first impression was good. We arrived in the room and it was very disappointing - the floor was not clean and some of the bathroom ceiling tiles were stuck together with toilet roll!

Breakfast was nice but evening meal was horrible. We had flying birds inside and not much choice (we ate out after two nights). The only time I would go back here is if I went self catering.

Pool was nice but watch going in peak season as lots of young people make the hotel a noisy place!

Hi. The Mimosa Park was a very good hotel. Good services, good kids' club, good pool, not a lot of noise around but the food was of a very poor quality. There was salad and hot food, desserts and vegetarian choices but the quality was poor. The entertainment at night was good but the bar at night was to be fair very shocking as you were queuing for up to ten minutes for drinks.

Moving on from that, there is an arcade that is quite good and also there are three pool tables now but there are two of very, very poor quality with cues without tips and pockets without rims and they reject your money a few times before they accept the money. The lifts are of the worst standard of lifts - they hold up to four people, five if you're lucky and every time they stops at a floor, they bump and bounce about. If you have open drinks in them you will spill them.

The only thing that cheers you up is when you see the entertainment girls.

My stay at Mimosa Park Hotel was utterly memorable. The staff were fantastic and helpful and there were some Spanish locals who were happy and friendly, I loved every minute of the holiday but it went too quickly for me.

The food and pool were exceptional and the location perfect for all local amenities. It really was a friendly and loving time. I never wanted to go home.

This was our first and last time in Majorca. The fact that the hotel encourages appalling loutish behaviour through its all inclusive deals is a real downer, especially as the walls are so thin that you can hear people talking in normal speaking voices.

The scrum for meals is a disgrace as you are not allocated a fixed place for meals. This is poor management and the quality of the food leaves much to be desired, in fact our meal on the return flight was far superior in flavour to anything eaten in the hotel and that says a lot in itself.

The staff are reasonably friendly and we found the receptionists to be excellently efficient at their jobs. Daily maid service and change of towels was also well done. A change of policy from all inclusive and from accepting all male or female groups (they are equally appalling) to couples only could probably see this hotel step up to a decent quality.

Review title: "All Inclusive Greed."

Guests are of two kinds. All inclusive or half board. This was our third time staying here and we have enjoyed ourselves, apart from all inclusive guests fighting to get their FREE drinks and snacks at the bar. Be prepared to queue for 20 minutes or more for that cold drink at the pool bar and even longer in the evenings for that cup of tea my wife always sent me for. My advice to the hotel owners is STOP all inclusive deals and you will have a smashing hotel or have anger management class for guests on arrival.

This is the third time in a row that we have visited this hotel and found a great holiday. The staff were great and the hotel very clean and tidy. The food was, as always, at its best and the pool always spotless. If any thing can be said about the downside, I found the entertainment team had a lot to be desired as they were not fluent in English and seemed to lack that get up and go but all in all it was a fab holiday.

Great hotel, staff excellent, food fantastic, great choice, good hotel for british holidaymaker, but not too british!!!!! Restaurant could only be improved if it opened a little earlier for children, but no real problem. Will be staying again in 2005 for our fourth holiday at Mimosa Park.
