Me and my husband went to the Rocas Blancas for a month and we loved every thing about it. The staff are fantastic, the place is great and I would love to go there this Xmas but as I am going to the USA in June, cant do it but fingers crossed, could be going there March next year.

Had a fantastic time. The Rocas Blancas apartments were very basic but clean. Pool was right outside our room which was great. Beach was across the road which was handy. Plenty of eating places. Would recommend them all as there was always something on the menu to choose. Weather was fantastic. Staff at apartments were very friendly, especially Juan at the pool bar. He was a star. Look forward to returning!

My wife and I recently returned from a two week stay at this complex. We had a one bedroom apartment in Block A at the front of the complex (over the shops) and had a balcony with a fantastic view over the Avenida and the beach. The location is great, especially for those who would rather avoid the steep inclines and steps of the Old Town area, and the beach is right on your doorstep as are a number of good restaurants ('Pinnochio's' and 'Universo' were our nearby favourites).

There was such a chilled out atmosphere round the pool area though that we only ventured to the beach a couple of times! The poolside bar is a great amenity with reasonable prices, tasty snacks and very friendly staff.

As stated in previous reviews, the apartments are spacious, very clean and, while not luxurious, are well appointed and very definitely 'fit for purpose'. Our apartment was cleaned at least five times a week during our stay and the towels and linen changed very regularly by the always cheerful maid. (In contrast the pool man/caretaker seems to be a Spanish version of Victor Meldrew – hilarious !).

My only (very minor) criticisms would be that the pay as you view TV has very few English speaking channels (Eurosport and CNN were the only ones I could find) and if you are used to a power shower you may be a little disappointed but this is really nit-picky stuff.

Overall I thought the apartments were great and would have no hesitation in staying at the Rocas Blancas again.
