The two key Guinate Apartments are situated on the hillside, some 450 metres from Playa Blanca beach, in Puerto del Carmen, on the southern coast of Lanzarote, and about six kilometres from the airport.
The accommodation, at the Guinate complex comprises 28 one bedroom and ten two bedroom apartments each having a private bathroom/shower, a kitchenette, a lounge, with a sofa bed, and a balcony or terrace. The apartments are equipped with pay to view satellite television, a telephone and a rental safety deposit box.
The facilities, at the apartments, include a swimming pool, a snack bar, luggage room and currency exchange. The apartments are cleaned five times and the towels changed twice per week, the bed linen is changed once weekly. There are many shops, bars and restaurants within easy reach of the apartments.
Board basis available at these apartments is self catering.

Guinate is a fair place to stay. Its apartments and grounds are clean but the pools are not heated as stated and are colder than the sea. The only problem is its situated on a steep hill and there are steps to most of the apartments.
The beach and shops are close by and a taxi from the beach area (where all the bars and eateries are) is only 2.60 euros.
There are limited opening times for reception and there is no shop on site. The staff are always around in the daytime but you have to ask for towels etc. as they don't leave you many. If you are a family, the resort is lovely and there is lots of choice when eating but the side streets have cheaper places to eat.
There is a small bar at the apartments but is again limited opening. I would stay there again as it was quiet and away from the noise from the bars.
