Really enjoyed my stay at the Levante Club. Staff really friendly, good clean rooms and pool areas well maintained with the added bonus of an indoor pool. The complex itself I could not fault. You had the use of other pools in the adjacent blocks if you so wished. The card system to enter your room I found much more conventional than using a key.

I also found the apartments situated quite well to all the local shops and pubs. They are within a two minute walk to the indoor market and less than a minute to three excellent family friendly pubs - the 'White Horse', the 'Plaza' and the 'Triangle' which have good entertainment for all ages.

It's the fourth time I've been to Benidorm and this accommodation is by far the best. I can definitely say I will be staying here again and I would not hesitate in recommending anyone to say here.

Really enjoyed my holiday in the Levante Club apartments. Food very good and location spot on. Not too far to walk for entertainment, although there was entertainment by the hotel pool every night. Would go back again.

Well, what can I say apart from absoultely loved this place. I went with my mum and dad for a week and met up with other people from Northern Ireland. We really enjoyed it. There was entertainment on ever night. We really enjoyed John Christian - he was really good.

The apartments were small but spotless. The maids came in every two days, emptied our rubbish bins and gave us new fresh towels, soap and clean bedding.

The staff were very friendly and always happy. The food was great with a wide variety to chose from. Only five minutes away from Levante beach and ten minutes away from all the markets and restaurants. Plenty of bars and restaurants to chose from. Going back again next year to the Levante Club and can't wait.

The Levante Club are great apartments. Good value for money and in a great location. Staff very friendly especially Jesus who always seemed to be on duty. We were a group of four girls and came home and booked up straight away for a week next May.

Did not eat in restaurant but it looked OK and there are plenty of places to eat to choose from. Can't wait for next May!

This was the first time I had visited these apartments and I think it's fair to say, it won't be the last. We were in a studio apartment and I was surprised how much space there was. The apartment, and indeed the whole complex, was spotless.

We ended up in the Dali block. I was aware that we had to cross the pool area to reach reception and care needed to be taken because of the wet - common sense really. It would be the same if it rained.

The maids were excellent. Although only there for seven days, they visited us twice, each time leaving clean towels (which we did not leave lying on the floor), changing the sheets both times and leaving loo roll. In addition, they took away our rubbish before we had the chance. Many euros were left for them.

We didn't eat in the restaurant as when we book self - catering, that is what we do. We are not aware of any adverse comments from those who did use it.

The location of these apartments is excellent. Yes, they are on a slight incline but that's life.

We found the staff extremely pleasant. I do speak Spanish (not fluently) and did so as much as possible. My wife doesn't and the staff were as nice to her as they were to me. There was one member of staff who let the side down (there's always one), pity really.

The entertainment wasn't bad. The nights we passed through it was John Christian. He did use backing tracks but was also proficient on the keyboards and guitar. As it turned out, I knew him from Newcastle and from my band playing days in the early 1970s.

If anyone has any reservations about visiting the Levante Club apartments, don't have, but I do accept that some have higher standards than others.

The resort was great. All the staff were friendly and all the pubs near by were great. The food was cheap and nice and the hotel was really clean. All of the staff on reception were helpful and could speak English. I would definitely go back to the Levente Club apartments although the hotel pool was freezing.

Just returned from the Levante Club. Was amazed how clean and friendly they were. The reception was great, although we were on the 11th floor - a bit high but was OK. There were ten of us and we all found it clean and tidy.

All the staff were helpful and it's close to three great pubs and all do nice meals and great beer and are friendly English people - 'anything you need just ask' kind of people.

Weather was hot so going back again definitely. It's so close to everything you need and the kids will like it as well. Mind you, the pool wasn't very warm.

Have just returned from Benidorm after a week with the wife. We stayed at the Levante Club apartments and found them to be basic but spotless. You get what you pay for.

The staff, if approached in a sober manner, will help you with any problems that may occur. It is not too far from the beach. It is located in amongst all that you could need.

Local food at the 'Yorkshire Pride' is second to none. Beer prices vary around about but not by much as it does further into the town. There are good entertaining clubs next door and over the road you are literally a one minute walk from the town.

The club has a great indoor pool while the weather is cool and good internet. As I stated before, if you treat the staff with a bit of respect, they will treat with the same.

When planning a return to Benidorm next year, we will be looking to book again at the Levante Club.

Review title: "Excellent Holiday To Benidorm - Levante Club!"
Travel date: May 2007
Just got back from a week long stay at the Levante club apartments in Benidorm. What can I say apart from what an enjoyable place to stay. Apartment and pool very clean, staff helpful.

I've not been to Benidorm for nine years so it was a big eye opener, but a great one at that. Although Benidorm is meant to be 'all that - with the night life', i found it very relaxing and a great weeks break to get a sun tan!

The beach was gorgeous - just down the road - although I wasn't so keen on the sea as I kept tripping over the rocks! buy some waterproof shoes to keep your toes!

I was told to be careful of the Benidorm gypsies and pick pockets - I can honestly say I never witnessed any pick pockets, but if did see the gypsies once or twice on the beach selling cans of pop and water as well as fruit - although I didn't buy them, apparently they were expensive – well, that was until the police turned up and caught them, it was great entertainment, thought I was at home!

I wasn't so keen on the food whilst there, but I didn't starve - the ice-creams were lovely!

I totally enjoyed Mundomar - it was excellent, great dolphin show and loads to see. The market was also as good for bargains!

Hope to return in the future! An excellent holiday.

My friend and I have just got back from Benidorm having stayed at the Levante club apartments for a long weekend (Friday to Monday). The complex is situated over three blocks, two on the main site and one block just across the road. On arrival you are given a swipe card - this opens your apartment door and also gives you access to the gates around the complex making it safe, as only guests have these swipe cards. We requested a lower floor as I have a fear of heights and we were given the seventh which out of 13 or 14 floors wasn't too bad as they give the much lower floors to families with children which is only right.

Each apartment block has its own pool. The surrounding area of the hotel has lots of palm trees and mini water falls making the atmosphere very relaxing. We were self catering but did have a evening meal which you can pay for at the desk for about six euros (£4.20) which was a buffet meal. It wasn't to my taste as it was mainly meat, rice and a venison curry - although my friend enjoyed it! The puddings were lovely with a choice of cakes and fruit. Not really suitable for children and definitely not suitable for vegetarians.
.
We booked a room for two but when arriving in our apartment found there was a room with a double bed and also a room with two single beds as well as a sofa bed. The apartment was very clean and with all the utensils you need, shower and bidet. I couldn't fault the apartment. The balcony was big with doors to it in the main living area and doors in one of the bedrooms. There is a TV in the living room. They give you the remote at reception for about three euros (£2.10). Reception will switch on the TV giving you most of the English channels if you require them. Be warned if you have children in your party as the Spanish porn channels also come on!

The hotel is ideally situated for the beach which is a five minute walk at the bottom of the street. The hotel is on a bit of a bank but its not to steep. It's bearable. There are some really nice English pubs a two minute walk from the apartments which do excellent meals. The 'Flying Horse' being one of them. These pubs are English and very cheap.

I am a very fussy person and I can honestly say I couldn't find fault with these apartments, although the noise at night was a bit loud but you get that every where in Benidorm have recommended these apartments to my mother and my sister who are going to Benidorm next May and would happily take my children with me next year.

I was not happy with these apartments at all. The first night we arrived in Benidorm, we checked in to the hotel at 11 p.m. We then asked for a safety deposit key which we were denied, the receptionist saying it was too late and we were to come back in the morning. Our party of six then made our way to room 1d, which look directly on to the roof (you could climb the balcony and be standing on the roof). We then got changed and made our way out we came back to the apartment around 4 a.m. to find our apartment had been broken into with no forced entry at all. All our clothes everywhere The thieves took all our money and travellers cheques, three pairs of GHD straighteners, three ipods, all of our jewelery and digital cameras, mobile phones - any thing worth taking basically.

The six of us were then left in the room which was very small. The mess in the room was horrendous and we were told to sleep in it until the rep came in the morning but we weren't allowed to touch anything.

The way we were treated by the hotel staff was shocking. We were moving into a suite which was twice as big as our original room in a different block. We stayed in there for three days and then we were put back in to the same block of apartments where the theft happened but on floor four this time, directly three stories up from where it happened. We were told we had to pay for the safety deposit box or we weren't getting one at all. We were told we couldn't stay in the suite because it was only made for four people when there were two double rooms with two beds each and a giant living area with a double sofa bed.

The reception staff were exceptionally rude, had no manners and talked to us like our custom had no meaning. The day after it all happened, the six of us had no money as it was all stolen. We weren't even offered a meal or bottles of water at their expense. We were given payphone cards and told to go to the police station to get reports of the items that were missing.

Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. And I would definitely not say these apartments are three star. They are very small and have limited supplies.

Me and five friends went on our first girls' holiday to these apartments. We did have a good time here but there are several warnings which I would like to share.

When we arrived at 11 at night, we were told that we would have to wait until morning for a key to our safety deposit box which the rep said should not have happened. We took all our belongings to our apartment which was on the first floor, went straight out to the square, then returned to find out our apartment had been broken into via the veranda, which had very easy access to it, as there was a roof situated all the way around the first floor apartments. The robbers knifed the suitcases open and got away with 6,000 euros, mobile phones, three pairs of GHD hair straighteners, three ipods with speakers, jewelery, perfume and other belongings! The staff were not helpful what so ever! Very rude and not willing to help. We did get moved a couple of floors up as this was the only option. So just to let you know if you are staying in these apartments do not stay on the first floor what so ever. They are not safe. The veranda doors are easily opened, even though they are locked.

Overall we had a really good time in Benidorm but would not go back to these apartments!

Just on the last day of our holiday at the Levante Club apartments. The apartments are very clean and tidy and are located in a good place, three minutes away from the beach. If you are a clubber (like myself) the square is only a ten minutes walk but keep your possessions safe as there are a lot of thieves about looking for easy targets.

I also recommend that you do not go to the apartments half board as the food there isn't to everybody's liking. I ended up at McDonalds most of the time. The staff here are rather ignorant but if you do know a bit of Spanish, they seem ok.

Benidorm - well I'd recommend this to anyone! I really enjoyed my stay at Levante Club. The apartments were clean and tidy and it just had a great feel to it. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely go back there again.

It's in the middle of everything. Bars and clubs right next to the apartments and the sea is two minutes down the road. There are a number of pools to choose from. There are two outdoor and one indoor. When I went, me and my family had the indoor one all to ourselves because I don't think anyone else knew about it. You could take the top off it and you could open doors around it but nobody could see you.

All in all I would give this holiday ten out of ten in ratings!

This was a mint holiday, one of the best I have ever been on. The apartments are right in the middle of everything and its just ace! All the staff are kind and helpful. There are loads of pools including an indoor one, which me and my family went in and we were the only ones there. It was like we had our own pool.

The beach is just down the road near all the shops and restaurants. The beach is very nice! We also went on a boat ride to an island in the sea and when we got to the island we could walk around it and there were shops on it. After we looked around it, we went in a submarine and it took all around the island and we saw lots of fish! Well, what can I say? Benidorm is the best! I'd go back anytime! It's a big ten out of ten from me!

I had a fantastic holiday with my 18 year old son in the Levante Club Apartments in February. The apartments have everything you need - except for entertainment and with so many great bars and cabarets so close to hand, this did not prove a problem.

The White Horse, Plaza and Triangle are right beside the apartments and host many of the top cabaret acts.

Also recommneded is Steptoes 1 but you may want to leave it a bit later to go there as the drink was considerably dearer than elsewhere.

For those of us from Belfast, Little Belfast, opposite the Flamingo Oasis Hotel, brought a little taste of home, with Ulster Fires and Belfast humour.

I discovered at the end of my holiday that the Plaza serves home made dinners and served new potatoes!!

A brilliant holiday for young and old.

These opinions are those of HotelStreet visitors and not of HotelStreet.
