Due to the location on a slight hill, this property is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.
Facilities at the Levante Lux complex include 24-hour reception and a bar.

"Terrible Place"
Travel date:
December 2009
The Levante Lux is is the worst place I've ever been in. For a start, the elevator stops about three inches below the landing. The noise in the rooms on both sides when people are moving about or moving chairs etc. is unbelievable. There is only one electric point in the kitchen. The cooking utensils are inadequate and of poor quality and it was very near impossible to cook a meal properly. The lighting system on the second floor was faulty and it was so dark you couldn't see where it was.
The good thing about the place was checking out which I did. I had booked for four weeks but I left after three weeks. I had to pay £273 for an early flight home to Glasgow.

The deposit at the Levante Lux was £100 or 80 euros and not what it says in the book. The card machine didn't work and had to give cash. The air conditioning was also five euros a day. Couldn't just have a few days - had to have two weeks. The safe was 45 euros for the two weeks. I only wanted it for one week as by the second week I would have so much less. The drinks around the pool were stupid and the chicken in my baguette was frozen. Not recommended.

The Levante Lux apartments are clean indoors and outdoors. Staff were helpful and friendly, also the rep.
Did not like the lifts - too small.
Situated ideally for beach and local amenities. It's a shame there was no evening entertainment as it would not suit all inclusive. All in all, Benidorm is a nice place.

The Levante Lux apartments are not luxurious, there is no entertainment and the staff only allow food or drink purchased from the bar in the pool or terrace area and will cause a scene if you take your own refreshments there.
The apartments are aimed at hen and stag dos, so are not suitable for families or those wanting a relaxing holiday.
The location is good for for the beach and the local bars. The room deposit was 100 euros or £80 when we were told it would be 60 euros.
If you just want a base to stay and are not bothered by the noise at night, then enjoy.

"Levante Lux Is The Best!"

I stayed at the Levante Lux for ten nights and loved every minute of it. The staff were really friendly and we had excellent maid service.
The food was really nice in there but we also ventured out to the 'Yorkshire Pride 2' - really nice and pure English!
Great for kids!
Shops, bars and the beach were minutes away and a great currency exchange over the road! No need to venture out. Aqualandia, Mundamar and Terra Mitica are a must go. Buses available for them all.

Hotel nice and clean but a little theft doesn't help your holiday, even though you lock your money in a safe but other than that, very good stay.
Hotel close to all English pubs and restaurants, close to beach and shops. I don't think I will be coming back to the Levante Lux again but it was a nice break.

"Levante Lux Apartment Is Not Good"
Travel date:
August 2008
Me and my friends stayed at the Levante Lux in August 2008. Our room was very basic and what I found disgusting was that we had to pay for the air conditioning. We went for a drinking package which was a waste of time as it was only from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. and only one drink per person in small plastic cups.
We arrived there at 5 a.m. in the morning after all the travelling and were very hot and thirsty. We had no money on us, only the deposit. We asked them for a drink of water and they told us we had to wait until 10 a.m. so we were sent to our rooms with no drinks at all. Two of our other friends stayed at the Rosamar hotel so we ended up going to them as their hotel was really lovely and friendly.
Our rep was good though, but the staff were miserable except for one young lad that worked at the bar. I strongly recommend you not to stay here.

"Loved Benidorm , Hated Hotel"
Travel date:
June 2008
Me and my four friends aged 17-19 stayed at the Levante Lux apartments on 28th June 2008 for 2 weeks. Once we arrived at the hotel, we had to pay 60 euros just in case any damage was caused to the room. We stayed in room 3d. We had a few problems with our room -a funny smell in the bathroom, cooker was left on for four days, which we had not touched, door frame fell off which could have hurt someone, door bell didn't work and one of the bedrooms windows wouldn't open. When we told reception about it, they found it very funny and kept saying we would get someone to have a look tomorrow. Shower broke and water was all over our bathroom floor. They wouldn't sort the shower out until next day so I had to shower down in reception and one of my mates showered by pool. Second night we were there, my friend fancied a piece of toast, went to do it and the toaster kept knocking the electric off. We had to spend two weeks in this room.
Cleaners hadn't been in our room for a week. We had to keep going down to reception to get toilet roll and clean towels (they told us we were supposed to have clean towels every two to three days). We even had to take our rubbish outside to the bins. This is the first ever hotel I have been to and I had to take rubbish out.
I would never go back to this hotel and strongly recomend families not to go to this hotel. Really enjoyed Benidorm. Really good night life. We loved the bar crawls but would never stay at the Levante Lux if we go back to Benidorm!

"Levante Lux Is Good To Stay In"

Rooms very clean and spacious. Excellent maid service. We went for the week and they did our room three times. Very quiet location.
Not sure about the lifts though. I had to help a woman in a wheelchair dismantle the sides of her wheelchair so she could fit in. Also they were quite noisy at night when in use.
Levante Lux location is away from main street so if returning home late at night a bit scary - one night with gangs on street corner.
Never ate in there so don't know quality of food. Drinks were quite expensive. Ate at 'Yorkshire Pride' - fab meals. Would go back though. I would recomend all inclusive in Benidorm now it is so expensive to go out, and not safe. Don't go all inclusive there though as you have to go to other apartments to eat. I heard a young girl wanting food in there and all they had in was pizza.

"Basic But Clean"
Travel date:
August 2007
My wife and I spent our holidays at the Levante Lux apartments. Tremendous time we had. Rooms were a bit basic but everything you required in your room was provided for. Didn't like the idea of paying extra for the safe and air conditioning, but as this is our first time abroad, maybe this is the general rule. Also a bit short on staff. Only one serving both the bar and reception, so sometimes you had a wait to get seen to. Staff overall very friendly and helpful too. Definitely go again no problem.

Accommodation at the Levante Lux was disappointing but was very clean and the staff friendly. Had to pay 60 euros as a deposit when signing in and the air conditioning and safe were extras.
Poolside was great as was the five minute walk to the beach, with even less to the shops. Loads of pubs, cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity but the majority of them were English which didn't suit us as a family who wanted to experience more of the Spanish culture and food.
One must is a day trip on a catamaran, barbecue food included and a great chance to top up your tan, go snorkelling, diving off the boat - they even had a slide for the children going into the sea. 'Benidorm Palace' is also a great night out - lots of costumes, singing, dancing and various acts. Great for the family although watch out for the topless dancers in the second half!
We did have a great time but I think it is more suited to youngsters who want a great night life with British beers and lagers and a good old English breakfast.

"Noisy But Nice"
Travel date:

The apartment we were given was nice and spacious as we were on the corner of the building. This also gave us a huge balcony. The pool was really nice and the staff were very friendly. If you ever needed anything (like when I snapped my key card for the room) it was dealt with there and then.
One thing I would advise is that you make sure you have £20 on check in. This is a deposit and they do not mind if it is handed over in British pounds. Also it's good for your return journey if you want to buy snacks on the plane but usually have no money left.
The only bad point I can say about these apartments is the noise. First of all, both the buildings on each side of the apartments were being renovated so this caused a lot of noise from about 7 a.m. (but I know this is not the Lux's fault). Also the lifts cause a lot of noise during the night. I have heard people complain about lifts in other hotels and thought it was ridiculous but they bang all the way through the apartment as the door of the lift slams forcefully.
Other than this I had a great holiday. The location was great and everything else about the apartments was good. Would go back as long as there were no building works next door but you should expect that everywhere in Benidorm!

Rooms were clean and had everything you could need for self catering. Lovely hotel style bathroom - again clean! Clean kitchen area with cooking utensils etc. Lovely balcony area. Very spacious and good value. Television only had BBC news so nothing to watch when got in late and fold out sofa - bed in lounge was bit hard but we only dragged this out to sleep on the balcony as we didn't want to pay for air con.
Pool is clean and food and drinks OK but so many pubs and restaurants we didn't spend much time in hotel facilities. Five minutes walk to main strip and beach. We also walked to Benidorm Palace and Aqualandia so got good bit of exercise.
Quiet location except for screeching motorbikes some nights. Staff friendly enough. Would definitely return as you know what you're getting and no nasty surprises. We went with First Choice and it helps to take advantage of reps so you can book discounted excursions (catamaran cruise was lush!) and you know what and where to avoid.
Pub crawls weren't tacky but felt safer with a group as two girls travelling alone and made drinking buddies. There is so much to do if you embrace the tackiness and excellent apartments for those who don't want to stay in the Levante Lux hotel pool all holiday. Great base - home away from home for exploring.

We found the apartment rooms very small, as well as the size of the bar. When I wanted a chip butty, they did not have any chips and could only serve me a burger. This was not nice and I was disappointed. However, the breakfast and pizza was delicious!
The staff and cleaners were very helpful and welcoming by answering our queries and booking our taxis for us when we wanted to go to the English Square.

After reading the previous review, just like to say that i couldn't agree more with what they wrote. I went with my wife and two children and it was great for us all. Plenty of stuff for all ages to do.
Dave the rep is without doubt the best rep I have met in almost 20 years of going abroad.
The best accommodation in six trips to Benidorm. Recommended to all.

"Levante Lux Apartments Are Great"
Travel date:

I stayed in the Levante Lux apartments in July and I haven't got a bad word to say about it. I have been to Benidorm a number of times and this is the best place I have stayed.
There was four of us in our group and we all loved it as we are all in our early twenties. We loved the nightlife.
Our rep, Dave, was extremely helpful and the apartment staff were the same, especially Alex, the manager. They are all Spanish but spoke very good English.
If you are young and go to this hotel, see your rep and book on to the heatwave pub crawls. It will be the best night of your life. Overall it was a great holiday. Will definitely be going back.
