Review title: "Rinconada Real Apartments"
Travel date: September 2007
We stayed here in September. The pool was not open as it the pumps had been flooded because of torrential rain. We were told that the pool would be open next day and we were there for a week and it never opened at all.

The apartment itself was quite nice though smelled a bit musty. There was no where at all to sit out in the sun as the terrace was overgrown with hedges and an old battered table and some chairs to sit on but no sun could get in.

First night there we had a chap on the door and it was the security guard to tell us to shut up all we were doing was talking. Then two nights later a woman came to the door and asked us to be quiet as she had work next day we were laughing a bit though. So if you want to talk and have a laugh on holiday, don't go to the Rinconada Real. By the way, there were five of us here and we are all over 40!

We stayed at the Rinconada Real apartments in June 2007 and loved it. We and my son and his three pals had a nice clean house. The lady we got the apartments from could not have been any nicer. We felt safe knowing there were security guards on all night. We will be there again at the New Year and hopefully next year again. So bring it on.

Review title: "No Where To Sit Out!"
Travel date: September 2006
The apartment was OK when I stayed at Rinconada Real the middle two weeks in September. I shared with two other women. The apartment was fine but the garden area was not. There was a dirty garden table and chairs outside. There were overgrown trees thus no sun coming in. We were told that the trees should have been cut down but they weren't. There was an old dog kennel at the bottom with tins of unused paint and turpentine. Next door there was a Spanish family who resided. Their garden was overgrown and dirty. They had two small dogs that were clearly not looked after. They both had no fur due to them itching constantly with fleas. They barked all day and sometimes night. Consequently we could not sit out at all which I find is one of the joys of going on holiday because some days you just don't feel like going out and prefer a sun-bath on your veranda. In this case we couldn't.

The fan in the living room was broken and we were assured that someone would come out to fix it but no-one came. The intercom was broken. I and my two friends will not be staying here again when we visit Benidorm next year due to these conditions. We were very disappointed.

Review title: "Rinconada - Never Again"
Travel date: August 2006
After being informed that the house I was booking for myself, hubby and four young sons in Rinconada had air con, top of the range mod cons and garden ideal for children, how disappointed were we?

We arrived to find a dirty, dark house. Garden had huge trees. No sunshine to be had at all near the house. Table and chairs were broken. The inside of the house was filthy. Mould in corners of house, mouldy food in cooker. No air con, no calor gas. All in all we were well and truly had. No deck chairs beside the pool so we spent most of our days sitting on concrete by the pool or backwards and forwards to the beach (with four kids under eight).

Only literally used the house to sleep in and dump our stuff. Didn't even unpack the cases. The shutters across the windows for security nearly took your fingers off when attempting to open or close them.

The area is occupied solely by Spanish whose children are in the park and running around until gone 2.00 a,m so no chance of early/quiet night.

All in all wouldn't recommend Rinconada Real to anyone unless they were planning on using it purely to sleep there. Benidorm is a fantastic place. Steer clear of these houses though.
