Hotel Agua Azul

I booked this hotel for a Christmas holiday for me and my husband and my parents. We had never heard of the Agua Azul hotel before, despite going to Benidorm many times. When we arrived at the hotel we were impressed by the location and by the standard of the hotel for the money we paid.

The staff were all friendly and the rooms were very clean and quite modern. We sat down on Christmas Day for our five course dinner and although I didn't like some of the food, the whole experience was amazing. There were two bottles of wine on each table and if you wanted beer as well the staff just got it for you. We then had loads of sparkling wine and the best thing was is that all the drinks were free.

I also liked the fact that when you went to the hotel bar they did not give you your change on one of those little plates, which I think pressurises you to tip even when you don't want to. We bought them quite a few drinks despite them protesting they were fine!

I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. All the bars and shops are really quite close so not far to go on the way home at night.
