We have stopped at the Celeste Apartments four times and we would recommend it to anyone that is going to Lanzarote. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The people are friendly. If you like a drink and friendly people, you should try the ‘Highlander' pub, where Willy and Liz serve good food and drink, have nice staff and good music nights too. We are hoping to go back.

The apartments were very clean cleaned five times a week and were very close to the beach. All the bars and restaurants were in very close proximity. There are three small pools and the apartments are very safe as you need a key to enter through a gate.

The reception are nice and the large balconies provide privacy for those who want to sunbathe in peace. The area is quiet; however, just around the corner are nightclubs for those without families and these are in easy walking distance.

If you want a quiet holiday, the Celeste is for you,. Now, I am speaking about March. One pool has a bar and another has a games room.

When we were there, our room had little ants. I reported this to reception and they sprayed the whole apartment and even left the can in case we should need it again which we didn't. The staff are A1 and will help you with anything. They have just put in brand new microwave ovens in every room - brilliant. We will certainly stay at the Celeste again. They are basic and cheap and most of all they are clean.

Hi there folks! What a difficult decision it is to choose a holiday accomodation if you dont know anyone that has stayed there. Well I hope this helps you !! We stayed at the Celeste Apartments in 2002 but were so impressed we are returning there in August 2005. The apartments themselves are very clean (they are cleaned regulary) but the best point is the location to the beach and the town. You are right amongst everything but far enough away not to be troubled by noise. The pool is very clean and although not massive it is big enough for a cooling dip.

There are a good variety of bars and restaurants all within a three to five minute walk and we found this to be ideal as we had children in our party and they never moaned once about having tired legs which we found a real bonus.

The reception staff were really helpful and polite and the reception had a safe room to put your cases in if you return on a late flight(very useful). The only down we found was the fact you have to hire certain kitchen appliances but this we didn't mind as everything else about the apartment more than made up for this. We really recommend you give them a try !!!
