The two key Fuertesol Bungalows are situated some 600 metres from the beach in Caleta de Fuste, on the east coast of Fuerteventura, about 16 kilometres from the airport.

The accommodation, at the Fuertesol complex, comprises 110 single storey, one bedroom bungalows, each having a private bathroom, a kitchenette, a lounge and a terrace. The bungalows are equipped with pay to view television and a rental security box.

The facilities, at the bungalows, include a poolside bar serving snacks, a swimming pool, with a children's section, surrounded by sun terraces with sun beds and parasols, a mini market, a laundry and currency exchange at reception. There are a number of shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the bungalows.

Board basis available at these bungalows is self catering.

This is probably the cleanest, tidiest and friendliest complex I have stayed at for a very long time. The bungalows were very well decorated and looked after. We ate a few times in the club house - excellent - clean and perfectly cooked. You certainly got your money's worth. Congratulations to all the staff for always having a smile on your faces and making everybody welcome, even though it was so hot.

I will definitely be back to the Fuertesol complex - see you October.

The accommodation is single bungalows. We stayed in a one bedroom bungalow, which was very clean throughout and was maintained while we stayed (11 days). The complex does have a mini-market, but with few options - but the main supermarket(s) are only a short stroll away. The pool-bar was well used during our stay and the beers and food was economically priced.

The Fuertesol is just off the main road and near a shopping/eating complex five or ten minutes walk away. The beach is a good walk, probably 15 minutes walk and the harbour a further ten minutes.

Caleta de Fuste is a quiet resort but there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from.
