The three star La Posada del Marqués Hotel is situated in the centre of the town of Carrizo de La Ribera, totally surrounded by farms and gardens. It is housed in the old pilgrim's hospital of the Monastery of Cisterce of Santa María de Carrizo (a national monument) which nowadays is still occupied by nuns of the same order.
