"Very Basic"

Do not go here out of season. There are no facilities on site as it is all shut - no play area, just one chute and pool was closed. You get dumped at the Europa apartments as that's where you think you are staying -not! You are staying at the Lotus not the Europa, Lotus as what was sold to you.
My partner and baby and my disabled dad were dumped at the Europa in torrential rain and left to run round the streets looking for the letting agents office to get our keys. Once there we had to hand over a rather big deposit of hundred euros and rent our bedding. We were given a map of where the apartments where. As we were in the dark and the heavy rain we couldn't suss out the map and there was no one in the streets to ask and anyway, we didn't meet anyone in that next few hours that spoke English. Anyway, after an hour, drenched dad nearly having heart attack and baby nearly getting hypothermia, we eventually, with the help of a Spanish bar owner, found them.
Very basic and not clean. When we arrived had to rent bedding then get in and make it all up like 'Carry On Camping'. There was no toilet paper, no kettle, two ring hob, no toaster, TV or microwave. If you want these it costs extra. No mirror in living room for getting ready at night and no maid service.
Would advise not to go there. Just glad to be home. Book cheap, expect very, very cheap. Never again.
One positive - Blanes was gorgeous and Louise and Alex of the 'Borracho Bull' and wee Jo were brilliant and they kept us fed and watered all week. They were very helpful and nice and the food was good too, highly recommended.
