The hotel is surrounded by 12,000 square metres of gardens and facilities include two swimming pools, (one of which is heated during the winter season) a sun terrace, a pool snack bar (only during the summer season), a lounge bar with dance floor, self service restaurant, lobby area, television lounge and card room, table tennis, gift shop, hairdresser, mini golf, tennis court and a full day and evening entertainment programme. The Los Patos also provides a conference room with the capacity of 100 people as well as meeting rooms.
The hotel is made up of 243 double rooms and 27 single rooms. Double rooms have two single beds and one double and can sleep a maximum of two adults and two children. All of its rooms have telephone, satellite television, air conditioning, central heating, safety deposit box and a terrace or balcony.
The Los Patos Hotel is closed until 2007 for complete refurbishment.

This hotel was great for us, within easy walking distance of amenities and beach. The hotel gardens were a delight to walk around. The two swimming pools were fabulous and clean. The hotel room was of a very good standard and kept very clean by the hard working staff. The food selection could not be faulted, with a wide choice. All in all a very good hotel with friendly staff.
The airport (Malaga) was only half an hour away by taxi and cost 20 euros. A visit to the marina is a must.

When I was in Benalmadena in August 2004 with my husband and two children, we stayed at the Hotel Los Patos. This hotel was good value for money, facilities were excellent. They had every thing you could want for the kids, i.e playpark, crazy golf course, playstation 2s, access to the internet.
The staff were friendly and helpful, food was nice and the rooms were very well kept and cleaned regularly. The entertainment would not suit everyone, the swimming pools were excellent and cleaned daily.
The hotel is ideal for trips to the beach as it is only a five minute walk away. Benalmadena as a whole was a great place for our hols, we would definately go back and would use the Hotel Los Patos again!

During our stay at the hotel I found that the facilities, two pools and mini golf play ground were all well above satisfactory standards and I would recommend the hotel to anyone thinking of going.
