The three star Los Angeles Hotel is situated some 150 metres from the Levante beach, in Salou, on the north east coast of Spain, approximately 12 kilometres from Reus Airport and 100 kilometres from Barcelona.
The accommodation at the Los Angeles comprises 250 rooms in two buildings, each room having a private bathroom and a balcony or terrace. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning/heating, satellite television, a telephone and a rental safety security box.
The facilities at the hotel include a buffet restaurant, a bar/cafeteria, lounges, a luggage room and currency exchange. There is a swimming pool, and a children's pool, surrounded by sun terraces with sun beds and loungers, a children's play area and a games room. A programme of daytime and evening entertainment is provided, and guests can take part in various sports and activities. There are many clubs, bars, restaurants and shops in Salou and the PortAventura theme park is within easy reach of the hotel.
Board basis available at this hotel is half board, full board or all inclusive.

As on the other reviews, it is very close to a night club. The strangest thing was it seemed around 4 to 6 a.m. crowds of people roamed the streets screaming as loud as they could, looked like locals and I don't think they even came from this particular club.
The rooms were very basic but kept very clean. The few staff that were around were very pleasant and helpful. The pools were very small but clean and mostly unsupervised but clean.
The food was pretty good but more like a cattle market rather than a buffet. The bar was very clean. The drinks were quite expensive and the price tended to vary a lot.
To sum up. The Los Angeles was very basic, clean and you wouldn't want to be a light sleeper.

Overall the surrounding area was lovely. Before going we heard there was a night club across the road but it was not as loud as we expected. The hotel was very clean and the food was excellent.
The only let downs were that the pools were really small and the lifts did not work quickly even, though we didn't really use them, only for baggage use.
As we are a young couple, we have decided it was more for families and young children as the entertainment was more family focused although it was really good entertainment.
If we were to go back to the Los Angeles hotel, we would go all inclusive as the drinks around the bar were expensive.

This hotel is right across the road from a night club and is very noisy till about four in the morning. The hotel is situated about 20 minutes walking from the beach. The food I thought was very good and this made up for the other bad things about this hotel. On the whole not a bad holiday.

This hotel is right across the road from a night club and is very noisy till about four in the morning. The hotel is situated about 20 minutes walking from the beach. The food I thought was very good and this made up for the other bad things about this hotel. On the whole not a bad holiday.
