An excellent hotel. Rooms cleaned daily. A really good variety of food for breakfast. Location excellent. Would recommend La Perla to anyone. Really good value. Will certainly be going back. I think the star rating needs to be looked at.

Well, I have to agree with the other reviews - the La Perla is a great hotel with plenty of bars and pubs on the doorstep and the beach two minutes away. Breakfast was just what I needed after a night's drinking.

Rooms were small but spotless. I would recommend it to any friends going away for a laugh. The pool was lovely but cold. Value for money. It should definitely be a higher star. Will go back again, just to talk to the staff. Such lovely guys.

My partner and I stayed here for nine days. Hotel rooms cleaned daily also new towels. Staff very friendly. Lovely swimming pool

Cannot say a bad word about the La Perla hotel and will definitely be going back. Real value for money. Had a brilliant time.

Lovely hotel and staff very friendly and very helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily. We had a room facing on to the pool so didn't here any noise from the 'Red Dog' or any of the other bars around. Don't understand why the La Perla is only a two star hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the La Perla in May on a last minute holiday. Was a little apprehensive as it was only two star, but what a surprise it was when we arrived. Staff were excellent, very friendly, 24 hour reception and rooms were spotless and cleaned daily.

The range of breakfast was adequate. All the basics required for a good start to the day. They also served food at the bar until around 8.30 p.m. Good choice and reasonable prices.

The pool was lovely - south facing, so the sun was on it all day. It was in an excellent location for the main strip and just a couple of minutes from the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We liked it that much we are going back later this year. We love Benidorm.

Room at the La Perla nice and clean. Hotel very noisy as neighbours playing loud music at 2 a.m. Noise from 'Red Dog' pub until 6 a.m.

People around pool saved all sunbeds so never got to use one, and many sunbathing topless which is not nice around the hotel pool.

Really enjoyed La perla. The hotel has friendly staff, clean rooms, food good and swimming pool area kept clean and tidy.

Near to all you need - beach/shops/restaurants and pubs. Would recommend to friends and family.

Hotel was clean and the staff were really friendly. Night clubs were literally at your doorstep and the beach was a two minute walk.

This was my first holiday abroad with my friends and would recommend it to everyone! We liked it that much we have already booked La Perla for next year!

Hotel was great. Staff really friendly. Breakfast was good - on the days we made it in on time or up on time! Pool lovely and a great sun trap!

Was a bit noisy but not that you couldn't sleep. Loved it there. Going back again next year! And the bar opposite good to finish in. Two seconds from the square and a two minute walk to the beach. Basically the hotel is exactly what you want for a good time!

More than a dozen of us stayed at this hotel. Location is fantastic. Come out of the hotel turn right, walk for about 30 seconds and you're at the top of the square outside of Cafe Benidorm. Happy days. Five minute walk to the beach as well which ain't too bad.

Place was clean and tidy. Never made it down for breakfast so couldn't comment. Cheap and cheerful and just the job for groups. It was closed for refurbishment when we were back earlier this year (April 2006), so it's probably better now than when we were there!

There were 15 of us that stayed here and we loved it that much we are going back again in May 2005! The receptionist's English was superb, the pool was lovely and the bar at the front had a fantastic barman, Jose.

We all had a great time but have only given it eight out of ten because those staying at the front found it a little noisy and some found the breakfast a bit too continental. Those points aside, we all recommend this hotel.
