My husband and myself stayed at the Kristal hotel for five days. Having looked at the review after we made our booking, we were quite worried about our holiday, but I am pleased to say, our stay was fine.

Hotel was basic, staff was friendly, our room was cleaned every day and we had fresh towels every day too. Bed linen was changed once during our stay.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It's right in the centre of town. Didn't hear any noise in the street at night and we had air con (free) in our room.

The only thing that lets this hotel down is the food. The chef is not very imaginative - food was nice, but had little choice. Next time we stay we will go room only, as there are so many lovely restaurants near by to try.

Don't be put off by bad reviews about the Kristal - give it a go.

OK, the food is rubbish but the rooms are as clean as any hotel in Spain. I found the multilingual staff really pleasant and helpful. For location ten out of ten. I have booked the Kristal again for June.

How bad can the Kristal be? Well, this bad. It's better to close this prison. Food is disgusting!

First of all, unpalatable food for English customers, basic Spanish rooms, not cleaned to satisfaction and no English speaking staff members so no communication between staff and customers. In the 11 days me and my husband were there, there were only two other English couples there and everyone else spanish.

No entertainment and no pool. Not worth leaving England to go there. Worst holiday, because of this hotel, we've ever had. Torremolinos was nice but the Kristal is a rubbish hotel. Do not go. One good thing, staff on the reception helped.

I stayed in this hotel for one week with my friend. Intially, when I read the reviews, I was really scared to book this one but after speaking to my friend, we thought we would give it a go.

I must say it's very good value for money. I enjoyed my weeks stay there. Staff was friendly, polite, very clean rooms and very centrally located. I would advise the Kristal hotel to anyone.
