"EL Trebol Aparthotel Costa Teguise"
Travel date:
July 2008
We went on an all inclusive holiday to the El Trebol hotel. The rooms are very basic. The maid service is very poor. We only had the beds changed once in two weeks. They don't know how to sweep a floor. A glass smashed on the balcony and was left in the corner for the two weeks we were there. My sister's bedding or my son's wasn't changed at all.
The food was far from a good standard. It was very bland and left a lot to be desired. Told the manager and all he said was 'that's your opinion'. Sorry, not good enough. Some of the staff were helpful but the others were very rude.
The pool areas were good for the kids and kids' club excellent but was only limited to 16 kids at a time and it seemed to be the same ones all the time. All the organisers could do was apologise as it was club rules. By the way, the pools are freezing!

"Lovely Time!!"
Travel date:
February 2008
Just returned from a week's holiday at El Trebol and we had a lovely time. Although a few days were cloudy, there was plenty to keep us occupied with tennis, crazy golf and table tennis etc. The only negative was that the pool was freezing but the kids still played in it!
Good location not too far from the beach and lots of nice restaurants a short walk away - would definitely return!

"El Trebol Is Lovely"
Travel date:
November 2007
Just back from a two week holiday. What a fantastic time my partner and I had. The hotel is situated right next to the Cucharas shopping centre and beach, about five minutes walk away. Plenty of shops and bars/restaurants.
The hotel was very nice. New reception area is immaculate. The old reception area looks dated but only used now for rep meetings and the best exit to use for the shops and beach.
As most people on here have reported, the pool really was freezing. Could do with letting it warm by a few degrees. Lovely pool area, although disappointed by the amount of towels on sunbeds each morning. The staff should throw them into the pool! Lots of screaming kids as well unfortunately, with carefree parents. Pool bar was fine, good choice of food.
The hotel rooms are great. Tiny kitchen area with everything you need. Large balcony with patio doors from both living room and bedroom. Sheets and towels changed once a week which is fine - just hang your towels out to dry every night! Staff very friendly.
Hotel buffet restaurant was lovely. Very fresh and spacious, although try to get there early for breakfast and dinner! Lots of choice for everyone and vegetarians would be happy with good selection of fruit and veg each night. Plenty of desserts too. Did get a bit repetitive some nights, so we visited a little family-run Chinese restaurant called 'The Great Wall' opposite 'Cactus Jack's' three times - food was fantastic and a great deal on the special menu, $6/£4.50 for a three course meal! If you like Chinese food, go there!
Plenty of British bars around, but we didn't use them as prefer to sample local culture. Best restaurants are at the Cucharas centre, tapas and paella bars. A couple of cocktail bars around too, ideal for watching the world go by.
In all, a fantastic holiday, El Trebol hotel ideally located in the centre but not too close to be noisy. I would definitely go back.

"Best Holiday Ever!"
Travel date:
May 2007
We stayed there on our first holiday together last year and it was the greatest holiday I've had. It was clean, the food was good, the entertainment was fun during the day and at night, the staff were all friendly and helpful and to top it all off, we got engaged and we were presented with a bottle of champagne with a coin in the cork!
We will be going back there again this year to the El Trebol and would recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing holiday!

"El Trebol Fantastic"
Travel date:
December 2006
It was the first time we have ever been to Lanzarote and the first time in El Trebol and it won't be the last. I went out there with no expectations. When we got there, the reps were very helpful and the bloke at reception was very happy and very helpful. We got to our apartment. It smelt very clean as we walked in. It was tidy and up to date.
Half way through the holiday, we had a problem with the toilet. We told reception at about 6:30 p.m. then went down to the bar. We went for a walk and came back at 11 p.m. and it was fixed and cleaned. Great and fast service.
The blokes behind the bar were happy, chatty and friendly. My daughter and her friend were always talking to them and laughing with them.
The food was beautiful and you could not moan at all. Everything was clean. The pool bar was great and we loved every minute of it. We will definitely be going back there and I would highly recommend it to anyone and think it should be a five star easily. Have a great time if you go.

"El Trebol Gone Downhill"
Travel date:
May 2005
Have stayed here many times before, but the place has gone downhill. Manager not available, staff lie - at first manager away for one month, then will contact us next day, (never did). When in his office too busy to see us. Only when I said I was moving out was anything done. Still never got to see the manager in a four week stay, I asked each day.
Confirmation faxes not replied to, then room not available on arrival, Cooker faulty and kept blowing cct breakers. Was eventually changed. Fridge faulty and repaired several times, then replaced but still did not work. Television not working for three out of four weeks. Remote had to be changed and was given one stuck together with card and tape. Had to hold battery in to use it.
No security, doors do not open easily and not locked easily, if you did manage to lock them. Cleaner then left them open. Telephone not working, no hot water, toilet faulty, need I go on??
Have to rent basic items such a kettle (at 22 euros, went and bought a new one in town for 14 euros).

We stay at the El Trebol each time we visit Lanzarote. We love the resort and the hotel is first class. All of the staff are excellent and very helpful. We have no complaints and will be back again in March 05.
