We have just arrived home after staying in the hotel Marte for seven days! Most of my problems are with the Thomas Cook reps, not the hotel's staff so I wont go into that!

We went as two couples aged between 18-24. Kids' entertainment was brilliant so we hardly saw any children through the day as they would all be doing their own things with the entertainers. There were things to do during the days e.g. water polo,football-tennis, quizzes, bingo and lots more.

Food was a bit naff, especially breakfast. I think we only had it twice but as tea was a different theme every night, you couldn't really get bored and there was lots of choice. However, food was only warm, not hot and a bit bland. It was hard to get really drunk off the beer so I asked for no ice and that seems to do the trick. Bar staff very friendly and the entertainers - what can I say? They were fantastic, especially Ross and Terri. They all got so involved and would walk round talking to you all the time - so friendly. Night time entertainment kicked off with a kids' mini disco at the circus bar (which we were at every night) - even us four who went at 18,19,23 and 24 got really into it. We were constantly singing the 'Chitchua' song - you'll understand what I mean if you've ever been. Then it was bingo - brilliant! £450 for full house - well in euros obviously. Then a little act depending on what theme night it was on. Entertainment stops at 11 and the bar closes at 12 but you're not far from the Bellvue Strip. 'Cheers!' is highly recommended for 18+.

Hotel rooms are not a bad size to say you only sleep in it! Two double beds, a wardrobe, three drawers, a beauty table, TV and mirror. Bathrooms are fine with a bath and/or shower, toilet, sink and mirror. What more do people want on an all inclusive. Of course, you don't get a kitchen as you don't need one.

If you thinking of going to Club Mac, then just go, because it's not the hotel's fault if there are kids there or people are loud at night. Everybody is on holiday and they're obviously having a good time. You won't regret going. However, seven nights is probably enough if you get bored of the same food because the themes last seven days then start from the beginning again. Loved it!

Review title: "Worst Holiday Ever "
Travel date: August 2009
I have just got back from staying in the Jupiter-Saturno-Marte. Normally the adults would write reviews but seeing as I had such a bad time, I decided to write one as a child. I am 14 years old and I went on this holiday with a party of five. We got there and got given the key for the room and we had to queue for about 15 minutes to get in the lift, then the lift would stop at every floor from children pressing the buttons. We used to have to do this at least twice a day.

The rooms were small with a tiny balcony. There was no bath, only a shower and there was no bathroom door either. The bathroom was also very dirty with bugs in it. t

The food was disgusting and whilst sitting in the restaurant, it felt like you were eating in a school canteen. The food was either undercooked or had no taste. Two people out of our party of five got food poisoning from the food there from the burger bar and the others all had really bad tummy aches.

The pools were revolting and children did poos in them many times which meant the main pool was closed for the rest of the day.

I didn't personally do it but my mum did, but getting sunbeds in the morning was a nightmare - you had to get up really early to reserve your space and then when they were unlocked at 8 o'clock, everyone would run at them like vultures.

I personally found all the people there very intimidating. During the day there was nothing to do - I just sat there bored silly for a week. I just wanted to come home from the moment I got there.

The only decent thing about it was the staff. They were very helpful and answered all the questions we needed and were very polite as well.

Other peoples' reviews are saying that it was fantastic and amazing - well, it really wasn't. It was far from that and I will never go back there again and if you read this, then please don't go there, or if you have already booked it, then start getting prepared for a boring, horrible holiday from hell.

Review title: "Value For Money"
Travel date: July 2009
My family and I have just returned from the Jupiter and Saturno complex. All in all, I can say for what we paid we got value for our money. The hotel staff all worked like Trojans keeping the complex in order and food was of a high standard offering plenty of variety catering for all ages and tastes.

On a negative point, it's full of British who continue to demonstrate that we are obnoxious and rude who think using bad language coupled with the ability to party hard and consume copious amounts of alcohol is how to enjoy a holiday.

The complex is very busy. Whilst we did not have to wait in queues as described in some reviews, the pool areas can only be described as standing room only with towels appearing on sun loungers from 5.30 a.m. Again, some of the English did not use the beds until mid afternoon after putting towels on the beds in the early hours.

Two weeks would prove to be a 'challenge', not a holiday. That said, I would use the hotel again for a week's holiday as the resort of Alcudia is a great place to holiday.

Review title: "Hotel From Hell"
Travel date: July 2009
The Jupiter-Saturno-Marte was the worst holiday ever (hotel wise). Rooms were OK, but toilet was smelly (no venting and plumbing was useless). Bath would not drain away after using shower. Baths had no slip mats, so you had to be careful getting in. Lifts were useless to obtain and people were so inconsiderate towards others, i.e. shouting out first thing in morning or last thing at night. There was no control of children in the eating rooms; parents just let them run all over, although there were a few exceptions.

Food was presented well, but often undercooked or tasteless. There was supposed to be nine pools, but all were overrun by kids and lilos (even beach sized inflatable boats were used). We waited until 6 o'clock to 6.30 to have a decent swim in the main pool.

Evening entertainment was substandard and that finished at 11 o'clock while bars were open until midnight. Coffee machines were emptied of milk by selfish mums for their babies, so you could often not get a decent drink from them.

The holiday rep was next to useless, but all hotel staff seemed to do their best and we cannot fault them as they did their jobs. This is definitely not a hotel for adult couples wishing a quiet holiday.

Arrived at this hotel late at night. We were very disappointed with the rooms - they were dirty and the toilet had stains on it. The curtains were hanging off the walls. You were woken every hour with people drunk and banging down doors. My eight year old was crying and kept asking to go home.

The rooms you ate in were like a circus. You had crying children everywhere and parents using lots of language to them. Everything was cold and you had to keep queuing every time you wanted something to eat.

We got moved three times around each of their hotels and it got worse each time. The people were terrible next to us and kept us up all night.

Eventually we had to move somewhere else which was 100% better. We lost a whole week's holiday and spent 2,000 euros more. I would never stay at the Jupiter-Saturno-Marte again and I hope people read this before they go so that they know what they are going to.

We have just got back from a two week holiday at the Marte. I am writing this because I read so many bad reviews about it before we went that we nearly cancelled. I want to say the hotel is lovely and clean, the staff are very friendly and the pools are brilliant and clean. There was no litter anywhere, no cold pools, no poo in the pools, no dirty nappies left around, no nasty staff and the food was fantastic.

While we were there I think I met one of the people that write bad reviews; he was complaining because there was no ham out at the snack bar. He was marching from one place to another trying to complain to someone. Then came back to the queue and asked us all to go to reception and complain. If he had just waited until a member of staff came out, we asked him for ham and he fetched it.

Please don't listen to the reviews; there is no pleasing some people. We had a fantastic time; no complaints at all. We were a family of six with two teenage girls at 15 and 17, a boy of eight and another girl of six, my brother and his wife and two children and then my husband's work mate, wife and little boy came out for a week. Not one of us had any complaints.

Please, please, before listening to other peoples bad comments, read the good one first, or just go and find out how good this holiday is for your self.

I would give this holiday ten out of ten. Brilliant, fantastic and in fact, apart from Disney Florida, I would say this is the best holiday I have had.

On my holiday there were four adults and six children aged one, five, six, seven and eight. There was plenty to do for all of us. Great entertainment, great food and spotlessly clean. Beds would be changed everyday and room cleaned to perfection.

The food was amazing, many choices and plenty of it. Plenty of food choices for the kiddies, plus 'Slush Puppies' and ice cream unlimited during the day and evening. The staff were helpful and polite. I enjoyed this holiday so much that although I have only just got back, I am going again in two months and I can't wait. Go and see for your self.

Brilliant weather to - 100 degrees plus. So much to do and see. Fabulous.

Travel date: October 2008
We went on holiday with my family on the 4th October for ten days of bliss, as we thought. My parter went to Club Mac in October 2006. He went with his four kids and he said they really enjoyed their stay, no complaints, but he said the overall standards had gone down since he went.

We had been there two days when I came down with a sickness bug. I was in bed ill for three days. A few days later, my daughter was ill, in fact, all my family were ill with the bug in turn. Then we were told by some one staying in the hotel that her husband was ill in hospital and babies were too. We never heard any thing else about these people and just hope that they soon got better and out of hospital and tried to enjoy the rest of their holiday.

We thought what we saw was very bad. Rubbish every where, dirty tables and sick left there for hours before it was cleaned up. Wild cats all over the place and our rooms weren't cleaned properly. Much to our horror, we had to report our patio door as it was hanging from the wall. Our bed was right next to it so it could have fallen on us while we slept. We had to report it to staff three times and finally, after three and a half hours, someone came up to repair it. That is why we say this holiday was the holiday from hell.

Don't go to the Marte. It was awful. Don't really know where to start. Well, the pools were freezing - so bad my two year old was in them five minutes and her lips went blue.

As for the food, it was bland and absoultely disgusting. Drinks were watered down and they made you have a belly ache after a while.

The rooms were dirty and small. Beds were made but not changed unless requested. We went as a family of 14 and over half of us went down with sickness and diarrhoea. The whole holiday was a complete nightmare and we all wanted to come home on the third day.

And so much for all-inclusive - we spent a fortune just to try and salvage the holiday.

I have just returned back from the Jupiter-Saturno-Marte hotel with my partner and three year old daughter. I have absolutely no complaints about the hotel - rooms were clean, food was good, facilities for children were excellent, entertainment was good and the staff couldn't be any more helpful!

The only problem was the actual guests. The reason why this hotel has had a lot of bad reports isn't down to the hotel but the actual guests - badly behaved, foul mouthed children (parents are no better), the outside snack bar has rubbish on the floor because nobody had the decency to walk a few steps to a bin (the rubbish is down to the lazy guests, not the hotel - there are enough bins provided) and generally the people were rude, had no manners and let their kids run riot all day and night! The noise that a lot of people have complained about again is due to the guests and not the hotel - people shouting/rowing at all hours of the night down the corridors have no respect for people asleep! I know everyone likes to let their hair down on holiday but most people have respect for other guests!

After this holiday I can honestly say I am ashamed to be English. The Spanish must think we are a nation of ignorant, foul mouthed, burger eating, lager drinking pigs because the majority of the people here were like animals! It's such a shame because its a lovely complex!

Went with my family to the Jupiter for what was a holiday from hell! My son-in-law and his family took my wife and myself for two weeks and I have never seen such a dirty hotel inside and out. There were dirty nappies on the floor near the waste bins, sick round the pool area, the rooms was dirty and the linen must have been washed in a mud pool.

We were kept awake most of the nights with doors banging and a lot of shouting as a few of the people on our floor were drunk most of the time.

There were one or two good things like the staff were helpful and at the reception were alright, but I can't wait to go back to Marmaris in Turkey and take the family for a proper holiday.

From start to finish the holiday was fantastic. The only reason why I have not given the hotel ten out of ten, is because whilst staying on the complex, I witnessed an accident to an elderly lady. Situated between the lake and the swimming pool, there is a wall, well, lack of it. It then becomes a big drop and people use this to step down. On this occasion the women stepped down, lost her balance and fell over, resulting in a compound fracture.

The security for children is fine apart from one area. The area in question is by hotel Saturn. By the stage is a grass area. The hotel leaves the gate open at all times and children were always playing there, heart in mouth most times as it's a busy road and also the children could get snatched as not visable to everyone.

Anyway, they are just two things about the holiday. All in all the holiday was boss, met great people and the staff were boss.

First went to this hotel in 1997 with all my family - mum, dad, sister and her two boys, my brother, his wife and their two children and me and my daughter. We loved every minute. We went back the year later with everybody but my brother and his wife and loved it again.

I never had a holiday for four years then due to looking after my elderly dogs. When they passed away, the Marte was the first place I booked for just me and my daughter and nothing had changed and we had a great time again.

In 2007, my sister and I went back and once again loved it. I've booked this year for September 2009 and I'm taking my daughter and grandson and I know I wont be disappointed.

Food was lovely. Theres' food on all day from 8 a.m. till 12 p.m. Entertainment great, plenty of pools and never had a problem getting a bed in the mornings.

Only problem is the mosquitoes so take plenty of spray or roll on and lemon scented candles for the table. At the circus stage they come out at about 8 p.m. till about 8.45 p.m. but all in all it's great and clean. The cleaners are always cleaning. Would recomend this complex.

If you like to spend your holiday abroad surrounded by thousands of English people, eat your meals in a restaurant that seats over 700 people at a time, drink out of plastic glasses and polystyrene cups and get eaten alive by mosquitoes, then this is the holiday for you!

The Jupiter was relatively clean, the gardens were well kept and the swimming pools looked spotless (although we never actually went in them - too many people and most of the sunbeds were reserved with towels and chairs placed on top of them!)

The food in the restaurant was average and the staff were quite friendly. When the restaurant was closed, the only hot food available was burgers, chips and chicken nuggets.

People do seem to return to this hotel complex year after year but please be warned that if you like to go on holiday to relax in peace and quiet, then this is definitely not the holiday for you. A bit like Blackpool in the sun, if that suits you, fine, but if not, stay away!

Can not fault the food, lots of choice and very good. Entertainment staff were great but its hard to please everyone when you're catering for three hotels with 3000 guests and it's outside so got a bit nippy in the evening. Not a lot of choice of drinks and got a bit bored with San Miguel!

Marte was clean and beds and towels changed regularly. Always got a sun bed even if we came down at 9 a.m.

Very noisy and lots of people but that's expected when holidaying in school holidays and staying at a three hotel complex. Overall had a good relaxing holiday.

We have just returned from our annual holiday, one we booked over a year ago at a cost of £2500 for two adults and one child. We had been looking forward to this break for so long, all inclusive on a beautiful island.

When we arrived at the hotel Jupiter, we were allocated our room which turned out to be dirty, with used towels in the bathroom, unmade beds with dirty linen. After several conversations with reception we were given a second room, which in reality wasn't much better than the first one.

The complex was packed to bursting point with holiday makers and we had to catch the really early bird to obtain a sun bed. There weren't enough beds to go round. Most of the clientèle turned out to be noisy, rude, loud and many lacked parental control. Children were left to wander the complex making noise and generally upsetting other guests. The entertainment was pathetic, poor quality and generally unentertaining!

The food was bland and repetitive. During our stay many children and adults were sick, sometimes in pools, restaurants, hotel lobby and on terraces. The lifts were constantly broken down with people on numerous occasions getting stuck. The complex was very dirty, with rubbish (including used nappies) laying all over during the day, especially by the pools.

The choice of drink was very limited and the food and drink facilities closed at 12.00 on the dot. The night staff would then commence outside cleaning up of the days' rubbish, including jet blasting patio areas while guests were still there!

Overall, our holiday was a complete nightmare and I would strongly advise people to research the complex before deciding on a booking. I would not advise anyone to go!

There are activities going on all the time with the hotel's entertainers as well as travel agents' entertainers with their kids' clubs. The staff are so friendly and great with the kids. They have all the time in the world for them. You have a choice of two stages on a night but I always went to the circus stage. The entertainers' shows are like professional shows. Mark and Terri do a great job with the Club Mac entertainers. Hope to work with them there!

The beach is a two minute bus ride, which is free from the hotel. If you go with First Choice, the sporty kids have the First Choice football camp which is great value for money. I definitely think you should go. It's amazing and you get a great tan!

I booked this two week holiday in January 2007 and after reading all the reviews, I was then really worried about going.

When we arrived we found we were in the Saturno hotel and not the Jupiter. The room was clean maybe a bit small for four people. There was pently of storage space. The towels were changed regularly and the sheets were changed about three times while we were there.

The food is lovely plenty of choice and no one had upset stomachs. The children's club and entertainment is good. 'Circus Day' was my children's favourite day as they all got to dress up and did activities.

The hotel complex, considering that there are three big hotels on it, was very clean. The staff worked very hard all day and night. I think people could be more considerate and put their rubbish in the bins instead of just on the floor.

The only complaint I have and this is not about the hotel, is that people put towels on the sunbeds early and then do not appear to use them, which means other people cannot have a bed.

These hotels do get very busy but overall had a good holiday.

Having read the reviews we were a bit sceptical before our holiday. The first thing people need to remember is that it is a family resort which holds 3000+ people (majority kids) so expect hundreds of kids screaming and shouting and not peace and quiet. We have two boys aged five and nine and they loved it!

The rooms are basic but very clean and air conditioned which worked fine for us (we stayed in hotel Marte) but generally you go on holiday not to spend it sitting in your room like some people seem to do.

The pools are excellent and very clean but you have to be up early (8 a.m. at latest) in July/August to get a lounger as it gets very busy. The food was excellent and offered a wide choice though I cant look at another burger again because they are available all day and there is someone always nearby munching one.

The staff were very friendly and eager to help and worked tirelessly entertaining the kids. If I was going to complain about something, it would be that the entertainment on the circus stage was a bit naff apart from the 'Lord Of The Dance' tribute act who were superb. The majority of the main acts was the Mac staff dressed up in costumes miming to a bad sound system, but heh ho. Also the 'natural' lake which is used for pedalos and next to the burger bar gave off some awful smells which made the stomach turn.

The kids loved the bike hire and trampolines which are five euros a go each and the play area was also good. We went from July 24th to 31st which is obviously peak season but the last couple of days was manic as hundreds more people arrived so a few queues formed at the bars but they didn't last long.

The highlight of the holiday without doubt was the trip to see the 'Pirates Adventure' in Magaluf which having seen it two years ago, is even better now. It's a must see and fantastic night out for the family. The fabulous Alcudia beach is only a ten minute walk (15 with kids) away. Even though there is a courtesy bus laid on we preferred the pleasant walk.

All in all it was a good holiday and we are considering a return next year.

The Club Mac Alcudia hotel is a great place to go. It has everything you could possibly want - three pools so your kids can go play and you can just sit back and relax, water park right outside and the town is not that far away either! If you don't have children, I wouldn't recommend it! The staff are great and they play with the kids in the pool and leave you some time to your self.

The rooms are great and so is the food! I have three children. My eldest, 14, found a boyfriend and mates and have been together for a year now - bless! My boy made mates and my youngest learnt how to swim. All good things come out of this holiday!

Oh yes, the circus stage is great - good entertainment and just family fun!

Having booked a last minute holiday - well look at the weather! - we booked Hotel Marte with Airtours. Upon arrival and after the disappearance of the rep, we were told due to overbooking we were staying in the Saturno. Not a happy bunny as yes, I had read the reviews! To cut a long story short, the Airtours' rep was worse than useless but the Saturno was much better than we initially thought.

With the exception of the dodgy lifts (we were on the tenth floor), the hotel was spotless and if you could not find something to eat in the restaurant, then you must be used to eating at Marco Pierre Whites. The pools were tested every day, there were always life guards on duty (who also provided basic first aid), lots of sun loungers and plenty of day time activities for kids, young and old.

In the evening there were separate entertainment programmes for families and adults with friendly bar staff always ready and willing to help. My family had a great holiday and left wishing we were staying longer - and I even had mother-in-law in tow so that's a recommendation!

With better lifts it would have got a ten - I have stayed in five star hotels which didn't rate as well. My only advise is a) watch out for the mosquitoes and b) don't book with Airtours - Smiles and "I don't know how this happened" just don't cut it - they could learn a thing or two on customer service from the Mac staff!

Just arrived home from staying seven nights at the hotel Jupiter in Alcudia with my six year old son. After reading the comments prior to my holiday, I must say I was a little nervous, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the standard of the hotel was far superior to what I expected. The food was delicious with an abundance of variation to suit all tastes, themed nightly. We saw no noisy loud mouthed adults around the pool with the kids running wild.

There was plenty to do for adults and children, my son's favourite being the motorbikes which he went on nightly. There was fabulous entertainment every night. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. Kids' club was great with plenty to do. Loads of beds available at the pool side even if you went there after breakfast. The people were very friendly. Have to say if you are family orientated who do enjoy drink and food with everything for the kids then this is the holiday for you and we are considering returning there next year.

This is the second time we've been to this resort in the last two years. Hotels have all been updated. We stayed in a family room which was brilliant. Food was superb and you couldn't fault it, there was something for everyone's taste. Highly recommended. Going back probably next year. Children loved it too.

Absolutely great! Best holiday ever! Something for everyone, kids' club, teenagers' club, adults' activities! Food wonderful, staff great, especially the Club Mac reps! Can't wait to go again. Don't know how people can say a bad word against it? I've been to enough five star hotels in my time which can't compare to this! This should be a five star!

Excellent, would go again. I knew that I was in for a good break when I saw San Miguel on draught. Food excellent, accommodation good, clean and great views. Entertainment good and plenty to do. Next to fantastic water park. With two boys and a Mrs - a great family holiday. Hope to go back to the Jupiter in October 2007.

Hello. Me and my family stayed in this complex in May and the horrors that we read about in reviews were making me a little nervous about going. Let me put your minds at rest because we stayed in the Saturno and it was out of this world. Everywhere, including the bedrooms, has had a revamp, it was very clean and staff was great. Dining room lovely and really all the family can't say a thing wrong about the whole holiday. The food was good but more of the same at lunch time but who's bothered when you have a good breakfast and a good tea. All through the holiday we never had cause to complain so if you're going to the Club Mac in the near future, don't worry be happy and have a good one.

I have been to Alcudia four times in the last eighteen month because it boasts the best beach and resort in Mallorca. This was the first time I stayed at this complex and I don't think I'll be going back in a hurry.

The rooms are well outdated like something from the seventies. Balconies are not big enough to get two people on (don't even get chairs).

Our rep told us there were three thousand children to one thousand adults staying there in peak season (That's a lot of screaming). Can't moan at the food though, that was alright.

On reading other reviews, I was not looking forward to staying at this complex. But when we arrived, I could not find a fault at all. Everything was fantastic and the kids enjoyed every minute we were there.

The only thing that I would complain at was the mosquito bites but other than that, we have booked again for next year and we all can't wait.

Had a group booking of 15 of us. Children aged between two and ten. Hotel was fantastic. A bit daunting at first as there were so many people but after a couple of days you got used to it. The food was excellent. They even had a kids' corner which was great. Food was served all day somewhere within the complex. This is the first time we had been on all inclusive. Would do it again and go back to the Jupiter-Saturno-Marte.

Entertainment was really good both for adults and children. I also thought the free transport to the beach was very good. There was a fridge which had sandwiches in which you could help yourself to and take to the beach and also you could fill up and take drinks with you so no cost at the beach, apart from the sun loungers and ice cream. Loved this holiday and hopefully will go back in 2008.

Kids' club was also brilliant. Lots of things to do. Some of the excursions you had to pay for like horse riding and kids' party nights, but most was free.

Don't go. Just arrived home and feel totally ripped off. Will not listen to First Choice again, they recommended it .The rooms are so small my 18 year old son had to share a bed with my 14 year old niece, because there wasn't enough room for a put-me-up bed. The air con wasn't even worth putting on. I was told it was all inclusive but you have to pay for everything, TV, hair dryer and iron. It didn't make any difference.

If you want a sun bed, be prepared to get up very early. And when you do get one, you won't have any room around you because everyone is squashed in.

There was a fire in the electrics one night, at about 9 p.m. We went to see what was going on and were told to go to our rooms because the emergency lights would also go out because they only last for 45 minutes. When we asked what if there was an emergency, we were told to ring down to the reception desk, we refused and stayed in the lobby until the lights came on. The reception was still checking in guests at 12 o'clock. They got basic lights on at 2 a.m., three days later they finally got all the power back on. By way of an apology, they offered the guests some Spanish sausage and 'champagne. The only person in our family group to enjoy their self was my seven year old nephew as the kids' clubs were very good.

I've read most of the reviews. We stayed at Marte for one week in August. Must admit myself and my partner were devastated to find we were sharing a room with our two 12 year old girls, when we were clearly told from our travel agent that we had a separate room. So, folks, double check. We were not the only to complain.

This was the first time we had been all inclusive. Really nice not having to keep digging in your pocket watching your hard earned euros disappearing on ice creams and cola. As for the food, there was a good choice and plenty of it. 8/10 for that. The swimming pools were very good, but if you like lazing around you need to get a towel on those loungers by 6.30 a.m. that is hard I know, especially if you had been supping back on the endless supply of sangria and San Miguel and watch out for those measures of spirits.

There is a free bus that shuttles you every 30 minutes right to the beach and from 7.30 p.m. to the port which is a must. Loads of shops for you ladies, sorry guys, Shop around for your fags. Prices do vary from shop to shop,

Forgot to mention the beach. Wow, fantastic. You've got to see it but don't get conned into the suntan lotion they sell at the welcome meeting at 30 euros a bottle. I must of had too many sangrias that day. Anyway, it didn't work for me.

Loads to do for the kids. We only saw ours when they woke and ate. They were out smoking and drinking all day and night. (Only joking.)

Entertainment: you have to judge for yourselves. We all like different things. Worth having a go on the bingo - 900 euros full house. Don't expect to get any sleep until gone twelve. Very busy and noisy and there are a lot of youngsters drinking and out late, but overall I would go there again. Bit gutted to leave so were the kids.

What made the holiday for me was the beach. As for the rooms, you only sleep there. Make sure you go out of the complex. There are some good bars and restaurants around every corner and try a ride on the horse and cart. Good fun.

This was our first holiday abroad with our two year old daughter and our first try at an all inclusive holiday. After reading many reviews we were a bit worried about what we had booked. Our opinion is, forget what the reviews say and go. We had an excellent time.

The hotel was being cleaned day and night, staff were friendly and helpful. Food might have been the same but what do you expect when you go abroad - you know that it is going to be different to at home. The entertainment was good and of a night at the Jupiter Hotel, after the kids' disco had finished, they put on various films which was nice for my daughter as she would sit and watch them.

Even though we were all inclusive we still ventured out as there is a good selection of bars and restaurants along the strip, as well as across the road. The beach is a place to be visited as it is beautiful (although we have visited Alcudia before and stayed somewhere else). My husband also went on the go karts at the top of the road and we also took our daughter on the horse and cart which she enjoyed. Sadly we didn't visit the water park which is across the road as we didn't think there would be much for our daughter to go on. Sad to be back home but will be returning next year

I have just come back from Hotel Saturno. I have been on a few all inclusive holidays in the past but I have to say this takes the biscuit. We had paid for bunk beds because we have two boys. When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed to two double beds pushed together. The room was very small and there was nothing to sit on. The bathroom was very small. They had a double wardrobe with three small drawers which we weren't able to fit cases in. Had to put them under beds. We weren't able to fit all our clothes in wardrobe. The balcony wasn't even big enough to fit any chairs on. We had air con which did work. Had a TV but had to pay three euros a day for. Weren't able to use lifts as kids were playing in them. Lucky for us we were on the third floor.

The restaurant didn't have air con. Wasn't big enough for the amount of people they catered for. Lots of queuing. Had to pay across the road a few times as we weren't able to get in the restaurant. When we did eat in the restaurant, the food was ok.

Around the pool of Saturno not enough sun beds to cater for the amount of people. The pool looked like it needed to be empted and refilled. Lots of ants. On one time my sun bed was full of ants. The pool was over run by teenagers spraying water guns at babies and small kids. Teenagers jumping on people. They did have a life guard around the pool but did nothing to prevent this.

They did have a lot going on for kids in the day and night but on the complex there are a lot of things that you have to pay for which is not mentioned in the brochure. The people that did the entertainment, I have to take my hat off to them as they worked very hard day and night but at night there weren't enough table and chairs to sit on. People were sitting on sun beds to watch the night entertainment.

The hotel is quite away from everything. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach. They do provide a free bus but you can't always get on it as it soon gets full. I won't be going back to this hotel or the complex.

We went for two weeks and were glad to get home, food very much repulsive, rooms very, very small, maids there every day cleaning with fresh towels but only changed sheets once in 14 days.

Entertainment, well you can't complain about the reps: they work their hearts out but they aren't very good at all. Drinks are the best part. Staff friendly enough, good selection of drinks, queues weren't too bad. You need to take money for the kids as everything is charged and not cheap either.

Gangs of kids at night assemble around the pools, drinking and getting drunk. Not a very good sight at all and the worst part of the whole complex is the lake. Mosquitoes thrive off it. Beware, they bite. All in all, a very poor place. A week is enough, two weeks a total killer.

I have read the reviews on this holiday and I can't believe the amount of grumps that there are! We save for our holiday all year and when we get there, all we can do is moan. Some of the comments of this holiday are reasonable but you make the best of what you have got. Sure, you have to have your money's worth but come on, was it really that bad? I don't think so.

I went with my boyfriend and five year old son and we loved it. I think it is a fantastic holiday for kids and somewhere we can all let our hair down. So what if its a bit noisy on the night (till 12 - not that late)? You are on holiday after all who wants an early night.

Room a bit small. Big deal, who wants to sit in the room all day? I say again, you are on holiday.

This holiday complex is three hotels on one complex. Of course its going to be a little busy but the staff work hard all day long.

People can go to the best holiday around but people will still find things to complain about if they looked hard enough. All I have to say is most of us go on holiday once a year, if lucky. Don't waste time moaning about things you can't change because you will soon be back at home and wishing you were back on holiday.

I am a sales manager travelling most of the world and I am being very honest in informing anyone reading this review that this is not what you get for your money. The hotel isn't clean, there is lack of activities for the children, there is a dirty café, lifts that operates like public buses (when you want one, they don't come along, then come two), lack of beds and you need to take money for the kids as everything is charged. Don't go all inclusive. This place is very cheap and within two days we were all eating out.

Be careful what you book. It is not what it appears. We intend to complain even further.

What are all you people complaining about? Tell me where else you can go with children over 12 for that price? Our first visit to Jupiter was four years ago and our kids had a fab time. We are a middle class family who do enjoy the finer things in life, but you only get what you pay for! we stayed in August for two weeks which I do admit was far too busy, but since then we have been back three times for a week in May and leave again soon to go back again for another week.

The staff at the hotel work very hard and there's always plenty to do. The food is not bad just average. The rooms could do with updating but it does clearly state in the brochure that they are two double beds in the rooms, so people expecting kids to get their own bed are wrong. I wake very early in a morning and sometimes go for a walk. The amount of cleaning staff that you see from 6 a.m. onwards is astonishing. They are everywhere - perhaps if some of our fellow English men didn't treat the place like a pig sty, then the cleaning job would be a lot easier! I have seen adults simply drop litter, drinks and cigarettes all over the place. Would they do that at home (no, I don't think so!).

Overall the holiday is a good one and I would recommend it to people.

Food was awful - always a meat choice for us veggies. Bar space – ‘cramped' is an understatement. Worst hotel or complex I've ever been to in my life. You do not get your moneys' worth - in fact, you don't even get all inclusive as the hotels are well designed or large enough to accommodate all staff entertainment - wise - it's a fact. My husband found out that all three hotels are big enough for all guests to sleep in, just, but not big enough to keep them all entertained. Sadly, a holiday we wish we hadn't gone on which is dreadful after all the saving we did.

Myself, fiancée and six year old daughter have just returned from the Saturno. The complex is clean apart from a select few leaving their rubbish lying around when there are bins everywhere you look. The staff work very hard, but the food is cold and it's the same choice everyday which gets a bit tiring.

Very crowded as it's impossible to get any seats at night time. Luckily, we made very good friends with a family who would save us some seats and vice versa. It's not as child orientated as made out to be, as whilst we were there I never saw any children's discos or anything for children to do of the evening for that matter. There is a children's park but you do have to pay for this.

Rooms are very basic: bed and bathroom, balcony - well a ledge. There aren't any chairs or a table on them basically because you wouldn't get them on. If you wanted a kettle or hairdryer you have to pay extra. This isn't a cheap holiday to start with so you expect to not be having to fork out more when you arrive but believe me; you have to just to get some standard of a decent holiday.

A lot of people came down with stomach bugs whilst we were there. I'd say the Saturno was the best out of the three but you'd have to make your own mind up. No way is it a three star either, more a two star. I read the reviews for the complex before we booked, which were mostly bad, but I thought I'd make my own mind up and I can honestly say I will be listening to what people have to say in the future.

Alcudia is a lovely place but the complex let it down. Won't be rushing back to this complex but would definitely go back to Alcudia.

Will never be going back! Hotel crowded and very noisy. I think myself and my husband were the only non-smokers. There were non-smoking areas but the smokers obviously couldn't read and they smoked near the food and in the lifts.

Rules in general were ignored: glassware taken by the pool, men in the restaurants with no shirts on and women in bikinis, dinghies in the pool with oars. The food was awful and myself and my daughter got bad tummy bugs. The staff in the hotel did their best to keep the place clean but nothing was said to the rule breakers.

Hardly slept as you could fill every spring in the bed and if you did drop off it was never for long as doors were slammed at all hours and kids screamed and adults shouted. This is the worst all inclusive hotel myself and my family have ever been to and unless you like the smell of smoke and lots of noise, then my advice would be stay away.

Just got back from the hotel from hell. Absolutely knackered through lack of sleep from inconsiderate so called holiday makers. The local police were called most evenings to sort out noisy, drunken, holiday makers as security couldn't take control of the situations that occurred: kids playing football in the corridors in the early hours of the morning, people having drunk alcohol all day ended up brawling in the small hours of the morning, took my daughter to watch a disco fever show put on by the reps (it was fantastic) but we were constantly hit by a football that a group of kids were kicking about on the stands prior to the show and during the bingo (no, I didn't play ).

The list is endless we ended up sending most of our time out of the complex and spent more money than we expected (there's a good friendly bar across the road who made us very welcome with brilliant staff, Uncle Fester and Rafa). I wouldn't recommend the complex to anyone. Worst holiday we've ever had

What a heap! Unless you like cheap and cheerful and have kids, then avoid this place like the plague. Rooms very basic and I spent the majority of the holiday waiting for lifts (only two for nearly 700 rooms in the Marte).

Food very basic and its put me off all inclusive. We ended up eating out after three days as a menu of continental burgers and hot dogs every day lost its appeal (again if your kids are food junkies then it might appeal). Couldn't eat their pineapples as the fresh ones were display only and they must have run out of the cheap tinned ones.

They charge for all kids' rides and games and they charge for a fridge, kettle, iron or anything to be added to the basic room you will be given. All the reviews about lack of sun loungers etc are also true but staff were very pleasant and it must be difficult for them seeing to the demands of 2,500 guests in substandard conditions.

Alcudia is a nice family resort but don't spoil it by staying at the Marte, Jupiter or Saturn complex!

Dear me. We're a hard working normal GCSE level family with three kids and I'm afraid to say this place was a real disappointment. We are not chavs, not tracksuit wearing hoodlums. We have three kids aged between four and 14 and had the misfortune of booking the Club Mac Villas with Dedicated Holidays. A really poor company but more on that later.

Considering this is all inclusive, you will be faced with social club type bars in the hotels where, if you have not 'bagged' a table by 4-5 p.m., you've no chance of being seated at all. What's really annoying and this is one argument I'm fighting over at the moment, is that all three hotels bars are licensed to hold under a thousand people yet all three hotels accommodate 2,800 guests so Club Mac are knowingly pushing more than half of their guests off site to keep their profit margin up.

The food was reasonable to start with but soon you saw past the large choice of dishes and realised what was being served was quite flavourless and, on the whole, cold. Catering for the masses, I imagine, is never easy, but to serve cold food and not use the bain marie things properly is unforgivable. If we had been expected to pay for food at a ‘three star' restaurant, as this is supposed to be, we wouldn't have paid the bill and would more than likely have left through main course.

It would seem we were there at the start of the season, although no mention of this was made at the time of booking. One hotel was closed; a lot of activities were closed like the outdoor entertainment area. Kids' activities were very poor. One kids' disco in the evening for 20 minutes is all we saw. It's a shame, because I'm sure it wouldn't have been as bad if it had been peak season.

Dedicated holidays however say it's all a matter of choice. On the complaint over the food, they say food is just a matter of personal choice - cold must be acceptable to them. They made no apology for the fact that on an all inclusive holiday we were knowingly driven off site and when we did mention to their rep about the lack of seating and things for kids to do in the evening, he told us the ‘Cheers' bar in Alcudia was good for keeping kids entertained, and it was, but the rep missed the point, we booked as a family with kids to a complex with evening entertainment, teenagers' entertainment and outside entertainment area which, in the same order, were ‘poor', ‘non-existent' and ‘closed all fortnight'. If we were booking out of season then: a) it wasn't reflected in the price and b) we weren't informed of it.

As my wife said upon return, she wishes we hadn't bothered and after a year of saving and spending 2,500 euros whilst there, it's a real shame we feel this way.

Dedicated Holidays just say that everything is beyond their control and they do ‘advise hoteliers to have all amenities open as advised' and that all services are advertised in ‘good faith' Good faith - yeah right - none towards the customer though.

I stayed in the Marte for a week in October for my last holiday away with my parents and it really was the worst holiday I have ever been in. Pools far to cold and staff rude, rooms filthy (mine had a brown stain on the wall opposite the bed), bathrooms undersized and also dirty, tatty shower curtains that stick to you.

Far too many loud, rowdy families crammed into a small area so the seating areas are like a cattle market and it's impossible to get a drink. Food fine if you like reheated chips and the same menu every night. I think any positive reviews written on this hotel must be written by people working for the hotel to try and make it appear to be something it isn't because I seriously cannot imagine anybody staying here and coming away happy.

I caught a stomach bug and my son caught whooping cough. We arrived in England to find in our local paper that someone nearly died in that hotel from an eating bug. This hotel should not be still open. It was a holiday from hell. Take my word, the worst holiday destination I have ever been to.

It was ok! I would recommend it to people with younger children as there is too much noise for older people! I don't know why everyone is making a fuss - they must expect a lot as the hotel was reasonably clean and staff were friendly! Food was OK, I can't complain.

The down point was the lake. It was surrounded with mosquitoes and I was covered in bites, which don't look too good with a bikini! At night, it wasn't that noisy and you don't notice it over the entertainment of the staff.

The best bit was the drinks. We went for my 18th birthday, me and my mates, and I was so pleased that I could have a cocktail all to myself, not just have a sip out of mum's because I was under age! Anyway, I would recommend it to families with younger children or a girly holiday. Lots of fun!

Our first time going all inclusive. Don't listen to the bad points from others - try it for yourself. This year we went to Florida and Alcudia and this was the best holiday and hotel ever. You will never have your kids bored, hungry or thirsty. Could not fault it.

We are trying to book up now for August 07. We would have gone back this year we enjoyed it that much, but already booked our hols last year for this.

It is a family resort, excellent value for money. Lovely and clean with plenty of varied foods and very friendly and helpful staff.

This was the fifth time I had been to Alcudia, the second with my children (three and six years) and I have never been disappointed until now! The Jupiter was filthy, the food terrible, the staff were rude and it was impossible to get a lounger around any of the pools, some of which were closed anyway. We ended up spending money on eating out and going elsewhere through the day. A tip for parents who want their children to go to the kids' disco' get there at 6 p.m. or you will be fighting people who have no kids for a space around the stage area.

Alcudia is gorgeous and the beach is one of the best I have been on, just choose a different hotel!

It was our first holiday as a family and we are going back in one week - 26-06-07 and we are so looking forward to it. You are just going to have to try it four yourself. I'm sure you'd enjoy it.

Review title: "Dont Believe The Hype!!!"
Travel date: July 2005
My family and I stayed a week at the Saturno. All I will say is don't take in all the bad reviews you may have read. Yes, you have to get in early for sunbeds around the pool,(any of the pools in fact), yes, the restaurants can be busy, (at the peak times though especially), yes, you do drink out of plastic glasses AND yes, there are a lot of kids around, (it's a family hotel, what do you expect???)..... but I must say we have had a really fantastic week.

The rooms are standard, twin double beds, average bathroom, not the biggest balcony, but you haven't come away to stay in your room have you? The food at all the hotels of the three we ate at were good. Note, always go to the freshly cooked stations where the chefs cook the food while you watch. At least this way you can see how fresh it is. Ricardo at the Saturno makes the best fried eggs!! Also, in the day and evening you have burger, chips, hotdogs, nuggets and fresh sandwiches on offer and near the children's play village, free lollies and whippy ice creams.

The pools do get busy and as I said, the earlier you can reserve your beds the better. We did experience a deposit in one of the pools, but these things can happen and to be fair, they closed the entire pool until everything was cleaned. The kids' clubs the hotel put on, for free, always seem to keep the kids happy. Free arm bands are given out if needed, which was good.

The evening entertainment was varied, three different areas to choose, films for the kids, shows, discos etc. The water park across the road is good, slides a plenty plus five pools. You can get a ticket to go back out and get lunch at the hotel then go back after, you have paid for it, why not.

The drinks are always on tap, plenty for the kids, all fizzys plus chocolate milkshakes and slushies. Adults can get San Miguel, cider plus all local branded spirits, which are all served in big measures. Overall, try it. This was our first all inclusive and it worked great. There are bars opposite the complex, free bus to the beach so you always have other options.

I stayed at the Marte complex this year. In 2000 I stayed in Jupiter and I think they are both brilliant. Please ignore the bad comments, it's a load of rubbish. This is a great hotel and good for kids. There is always something to do. You can never get hungry either. I've just got back today and I'm missing it already. I went for a week where as last time I went for two but now I think I might of needed two weeks or ten days. My advice to you is to come. It's a holiday of a life time. Just back from one week at the Jupiter hotel, would definitely not go back. Spent most of my week in lifts going up and down. I had a nine and five year old with me. The entertainment at the evening was awful, the pools were ok apart from one was closed for three days because someone had deposited something in it (I'll leave that to your imagination). The rooms were clean and the food was quite good, but overall I wouldn't go back to this complex.

Total rubbish and that's putting it in a sensible word. Food is OK the first three days then repeats itself.

All things, pool rides etc., are very, very expensive. Entertainment is rubbish. Rooms are very, very small. Kids run riot at night time around the pool. Gangs drinking. 13 year olds getting drunk.

The lake was a joke. The mosquitoes! Beware, they bite for Wales. Outside the complex is a total rubbish site.

Alcudia has got a lovely beach but if you have booked, cancel and cut your loses. Seriously, it's very bad. Two star at the best.

There are seven pools, a mini bar, a mini disco which has entertainment every night. I was staying in the Jupiter hotel and I give it a mark out of 10. It was superb. The staff were very friendly they should be getting a rise!!!.

The weather was great the whole two weeks and the beach was very lively. And I don't really like abroad food, nothing like the food we get back in Scotland like our fish suppers and that. But the food in this hotel was better - very good indeed. If it was any holiday you were going on I would recommend this to all ages. It's great!!!

Just came back from a week away staying in the Hotel Marte. The complex was bigger then I thought and imagined and it is a very children orrientated place. This was not mentioned when booking the holiday and is better for a family rather then a couple.

Food was great and there was lots of choice for all types of eaters, especially vegetarian. Also the drinks were available all day where you would definately make the most of them.

The only down point of this hotel is the lifts. They are small lifts and you find yourself waiting around a long time for them. And especially if you are on the top floors.

Entertainment is great if you have children with kids clubs and shows etc but not great for people aged around 20 upwards.

Had a great holiday and would recommend it to anyone who has children, not just a couple.

I would not go back to this hotel but I would recommend it to people with kids. The food was very bland and did not have much taste, although the drink is good and the idea of 24hr all inclusive is brilliant.

We are a family of four with a seven and three year old. I have to say that we had a fantastic time at this complex. The rooms are basic (but clean) and all have balconies. We stayed in the Saturno which is the last of the three hotels and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel goes out of it's way to keep you and the kids entertained. The animation team are truly fantastic. They really work hard and my kids loved it. Even though my youngest wasn't old enough for the kid's club, he had a ball at the kid's village and at the mini discos.

The pools were cold when we first arrived but it was the middle of May! and they were warmer during the second week.
The food was superb with lots of choice even for fussy eaters like my daughter.

Yes it is noisy, so don't go there for a quiet holiday, but if you want a fun family holiday this is ideal. We would go back tomorrow given the chance and are already looking at this for next years holiday.

Just stayed for two weeks in the Hotel Marte, w/c 13th May - 27th May 2005, one of the three of Club Mac hotels. Everything was brilliant. There were four of us all aged between 18-21. We really enjoyed ourselves, even though it was surrounded by kids but thats what made it more fun.

We thought the reps were brilliant and the food was beautiful. We didn't even bother looking for night life as all of our drinks were free at the complex and the bar men were very generous with the spirits.

I would definately come back as it felt a very safe place to be and there was always something for just to do i.e all the tournaments, fun and games and even bingo at night to claim some spendo.

We thought the rooms were kept immaculate as the maids were brilliant everyday and the bathroom was massive. The only thing was that looking over the balcony it just looked onto the top of our restaurant with no clear view of the pools or anything special but we didnt spend much time in our rooms anyway. Thank you everyone at hotel Saturno, Jupiter and Marte for a wonderful stay. Wish we were still there.

Me and two friends were quite wary about going to this hotel because of the reviews I read, but we all agreed that we had a good holiday.

The complex was big with three pools, a lake, children's area, hairdressers, stalls, lots of bars etc. The rooms were basic, but OK for washing and sleeping. However, the balcony was very small.

The pool areas were great, with no problems getting a sunbed, although our towels did disappear one evening, never to be seen again.

Most of the staff were friendly and spoke good english.
The food was good with variety, none of us went hungry. They do try and cater for the English. Breakfast and the burgers were our favourites.

There were plenty of daytime activities for children and adults, including pedaloes, archery, pool, darts and bull competitions which were all included. The evening entertainment wasn't bad, there were a few good shows, but some were not for us.

The lifts in the Jupiter were not very good and we walked up and down from the fifth floor most of the time as it was quicker than waiting. The only thing we seemed to be missing was a couple of kids!!

A few people have said that it was noisy. If you are looking for a quiet holiday, then you shouldn't go to such a big complex. For £240 each, none of us could complain!!

Alcudia itself is a lovely town, which is about a 20 minute stroll from the hotel. It has lots of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, lthough the bridges into the town don't seem very safe.

We booked through First Choice Holidays and wanted a week away somewhere quiet. We arrived after a great flight at the Hotel Jupiter. The complex from outside is not bad and when we arrived in reception to check in, all I can say is that it was noisy. This is definately a family complex and not for couples who want to get away from it all.

We asked to be put on the highest floor which is level nine. The lifts were always broken down. The rooms are not great, bath had rust on it, the seal around the bath was black and the taps full of green limescale.

The food was ok, but basic and not a lot of choice, but we ended up eating out every day so we ended up spending more money instead of enjoying the all inclusive deal we were sold.

We tried to make the most of it and we did have fun out of the hotel, but definately not three star, more like one star.

The snack bar which is supposed to open up after 10pm is a fridge with sandwiches which have been there all day.

So don't bother, is my advice

This complex is not bad, bearing in mind it's only a three star. We stayed in the Jupiter hotel and had a good view overlooking the entire resort. The room is very basic but it is a three star after all and you don't want to spend the holiday in your room anyway do you? It was clean though.

There are ample things to do and most things are free, like rifle shooting and archery. Time does really fly by!

The bad points (lets face all places have these), the bar was really smokey. If you're not a smoker, like me, there is no way you would sit there. I must mention though there is a good range of spirits and cocktails available in A.I and of course the San Miguel beer.

The food,.....well,.....it was okay. Some of the food was the same each day like pizzas and fish. All in all the food was okay and the desert was great!

The lifts were bad, only two out of the three worked and were always packed. There were nine floors in the Jupiter and we were on the seventh, so there was no way I would climb seven flights!

There was also free transfers to the beach every half an hour. I only paid £220 for three nights including flights so I think it was worth it and if I get the same deal again I would go again!

I stayed at the hotel in October 2004 with my partner and three kids, then aged 11, four and seven months, It was the end of the season, but still plenty to do. The kids loved it. It was quieter then too.

The rooms were good, plenty big enough for us. It's not like you go on your hols to sit in your room, is it? The hotel was very clean and tidy, the staff were great, very pleasant and helpful, the food was great, always something different to choose from, even for the kids. Many hotels don't cater for the kids, but they do. It's especially good for the kids because they get ice cream and drinks on tap. There are burger bars, that are open all day, serving burgers, chips, hotdogs, you name it they have it. They also had computers with the internet, which was good for my 11 year daughter, you know what kids are like, they can't survive without their pc, even for a week. Charged by the hour, it cost a couple of euros and it kept her occupied while we sat with the two younger kids and watched the great entertainment.

Overall, I haven't got a single complaint about the place. It was that good, we're going back in June this year. No I'm lying, there was one thing, the lifts. There were only three for the whole hotel. It was a pain in the bum waiting and most of the time they were full so you had to wait for the next that was full or it may miss your floor altogether, but hey, so what, walk the stairs. I'd definitely recommend these hotels to anyone

Also we asked for a low floor pool view, well we did get pool view but we also got TOP floor. On a good note now, the pool is amazing and there are lots of activities on the resort that you can choose from, including pedoloes.

The food was ok but my granddaughter was in bed ill all one day and we blame it on the kebab sticks. Also the entertainment was so rubbish and we had to get a bus everytime we wanted to go into town.

I highly recommend the Hydro Park next door as it's got loads of slides and its great fun but the prices are dear when you get in there.

Loud was an understatement! Staff were lovely though but some of the entertainers we were soon to find out were pretty full on.

The rooms were very small and cramped and a bit run down. They were cleaned every day though. Pools extremely busy as were all of the food bars. Food was not up to much and we ended up eating out an awful lot. Food for kids was burgers, chips, ice-cream and chips. No choice really and our ten year old would not eat at all!

We found that people were banging on doors and running up and down until three in the morning and there was a funny smell in rooms when you tried to use the air conditioning.

The biggest problem for us was just how far away the beach and resort centre were. A good half hour walk was not a lot of fun with two small kids.

Alcudia itself was great though, loads of good food places and a lovely beach. We will definitely go there again, just not to this complex and not all-inclusive.

The food was the best I've ever had. It caters for children as well. The selection of drinks was great compared to most all inclusive places I've been.

The location isn't too bad - a bit of exercise is great when you are all inclusive. It's not too far yet not on the beach. But the free bus is great. Most places you have to buy a ticket for the bus at your complex. This is, however, free!

The one thing I did not like was the bedrooms! Me and one friend went which was not too bad as we got ready and that together. For a family with children I would not be keen. We had two double beds in one room and a bathroom that was it.

If you wait for a late deal you can go to this hotel for £300 each. If you book early you pay around £600ish each. We got a late deal and people were not happy!
