Unlike most British tourists, I don't have to moan about everything I see when I go abroad. The place is quiet, but really clean and picturesque with apartments with more than enough room. The Sun Club's pool was spot on and apart from the wind (which is a force of nature, by the way), the only gripe I had at poolside were Brits making a noise.

I would recommend this as a great destination for people looking for a quiet week getaway and you always have the option to go into the main resort of Playa del Ingles for a couple of euros in a cab if you need some night life.

Our apartments were lovely and clean and plenty of space in the one bedroom. They have all been newly done up.

The food was terrible. I took out two kids aged 12 and four. There was nothing for them to eat apart from chips or salad. The meat was terrible. Didn't even tell you what it was so we ended up eating out.

There was no entertainment at night apart from a Friday when there was a show for 40 minutes, which wasn't very good.

At the pool bar, through the day, the juice dispenser didn't work for three days. Staff didn't seem to care when we complained. Staff weren't very nice either. Everything seemed too much work for them.

The drinks at night stopped at 11.00, not 12.00 p.m., like we were told and also there was no ice cream for the kids through the day unless you paid for it. Also, the snacks started at 11.00 a.m. and finished at 3.00 p.m. There was nothing at night apart from your dinner and that closed at 9.00 p.m.

The apartments only get cleaned every other day. Over all, I wasn't happy with my holiday. I was bored and so were the kids. If ii wasn't for going out every night, the holiday would have been ruined.
