"Best Holiday!"

Well, I only got back from a two week stay here a few hours ago. I think it was awesome! I'm 16 and went with my cousin of the same age (it was her first holiday) and my parents and it was the best holiday I've ever been on! Really enjoyed it.
The animation team was great - really friendly. Loved them. The shows at night were really fun and good for all ages. Daisy is awesome!
Very close to beaches and only around 20/30 minutes walk to the centre. Good restaurants!
Very friendly receptionists and bar staff.
I stayed in 371 B which was really good. We did get a room at the back with a view of nothing but we changed as we had requested a pool view.
Only downside is that the self catering rooms don't seem to be as clean as the others but still fairly clean.
Met lots of nice people there. Everyone was just friendly!
Hope to go back soon but will miss the animation team that was there this time when I went. I would definitely advise the H10 Mediterranean Village hotel to anyone as it is great. It's available for any ages, entertainment all day and always games on during the day for adults and children!
Really good holiday!

I absolutely loved this holiday! The staff were so friendly, always got everyone involved and catered for everybody! We went for two weeks and now I'm planning to go back with my mate in September!
It's so close to everything and if you go, you have to try PortAventura - it's amazing - so many rides to choose from and caters for all ages! I am definitely going back!

The H10 Mediterranean Village was the best holiday I've ever been on! I'm 14 and the amazing animation team even convinced me to go up and dance with Daisy!
The rooms were really normal and not too fancy or too boring - pretty much the same as at home so I felt comfortable there.
I loathed all the walking around but it was worth it when I got my ice cream at the end of it. In Cap Salou there is a lot of entertainment. There's a little fair thing down the road from the hotel and nice, plain cafes and stuff which sold English food.
Best bit of the hotel was the animation team - they were the best ever and I really got to know them during my stay. They were nice to everyone and even the people who were grumpy and annoying. Little kids would always push them in the pool and they would just laugh and start chasing them about which was really funny to watch and even do!
Best hotel ever! Everyone better pick this hotel if you're going to Salou because it's the best and the funniest!

We had read some reviews before we went and we were begining to wish we weren't going but when we got there, we were totally amazed. The staff were friendly and the kids were entertained every day.
The stairs were a killer, if you are scared of lifts. The cleaner came in every day and we had clean towels every day. We will be going again next year to the H10 Mediterranean Village.

On first impressions, the H10 Mediterranean Village hotel is absolutely gorgeous. When we walked into reception, my four year old daughter asked if this was the jungle, due to all the plants and the lovely waterfall.
The rooms were really nice and the pool area was really clean.
The only downside was we had to get a bus in to Salou and out again each day, as there isn't much to do in Cap Salou. This turned out quite expensive since there were four of us. If this hotel had been in the middle of Salou Town, it would have been fabulous.
Has a lovely beach within walking distance and plenty to do around the complex if you enjoy staying all day, every day there.

This hotel is an amazing site for all age groups. It is only 20-30 minutes from PortAventura - that is a great day out for all the family. At the hotel there is great entertainment through the night and great clubs on in the day. There are three pools and a gym and jacuzzi. I would recommend this for anyone. Also there is a shop on site were you can buy blow up boats and crocodiles for the pools. There are many sunbeds. There is a cafe were you can buy anything, a bar, dining lounge and a hair salon.
This was a great holiday. The rooms are brilliant with a safe in nearly all of them. The H10 Mediterranean Village is a four star hotel but it should be a five star.

Place was absolutely amazing, both for the kids (boy of five and girl of 11) and adults. The hotel staff were excellent, especially the animation team who were constantly catering for the young ones - daisy clubs, mini discos etc.
Location very nice place and close to all the main attractions. Booking the H10 Mediterranean Village right away again for next year. Liked it, loved it, doing it again next year.

Me and my friend went to the H10 Mediterranean Village for one week self catering! Everyone was really friendly and our Thomas Cook reps Dean and Steven was really nice and knew where all the best places were!
The weather was not very good but that didn't spoil anything. Met loads of really nice people and I didn't want to come home. Definatly going back next year!
The only thing which spoilt the hotel was we arrived at 9 a.m. and couldn't check in till 2 p.m. which just meant waiting around with your luggage.

Stayed here for two weeks half board. Was very impressed by the H10 Mediterranean Village hotel itself and the range of activities are fantastic, something for everyone. Kids' club entertainers are great too.
One problem is although we checked into hotel at 11 a.m., we were not allowed keys for our room until 2 p.m. - very frustrating when it's red hot and you're trying to entertain a two year old!

"Holiday From Hell!"

This is the worst holiday me, my husband and two children aged three and five have have ever had. The hotel is full of drunken yobs. Every night there was chanting, swearing, shouting and arguing until 3.30 a.m. every morning. Not once did we get a night's sleep. Kids were jumping in the pool at all hours and security thought this was funny. The children aged between seven and 16 were walking around on an evening, drunk, on their own and causing nothing but destruction. Goodness only knows where their parents were - some were drinking in the bar and the kids were pleasing themselves.
The pool was shut for three days. Day one, the kids had been to the toilet in it. Day two, there was broken glass in it from the previous evening and day three, there were chips and food thrown in from the previous evening and they always seemed to do it to the shallow end of the pool (kiddies' part).
Security were absolutely no use what so ever. They did nothing but encourage the youngsters to continue jumping in the pool and they walked past them when they were being rowdy. We complained on three occasions to the reps the next day, all they do is make a note of it and say they would speak to reception. Useless. I complained to reception about it twice and they just locked them in block B. Well, we were in block B and right above the internet room. So they therefore went on to playing extremely loud music from there. When I complained again, nothing was done.
When I asked the rep why there was so many rowdy kids/families in there, all I was told was that it is coming up to October and that the holidays were cheaper, so you end up with all the rif raf there. Great, eh?
I am not one to complain normally but I have never seen anything like it. It was worse than being in a zoo.
On a lighter note. the Mediterranean Village hotel itself was nice and the entertainers for the kids was great.
If you still go to this hotel or have already booked, I would ask to avoid room 171B or the complete of B block. Good luck, hope you have a better time than we did.
Oh, and if you complain about it and have a go at the kids or security for it, they call the police and you nearly get arrested.

Went last year, same week and this year was just as good. I can't wait to get back there. There is everything for the kids, the staff great and helpful, it is very clean, and the entertainment is good. Food sometimes a bit picky but you'll always find something to eat. A few lovely bays to visit and a few bars within easy walking distance.
One of our party is disabled but everything on the level. The indoor swimming pool has a disabled lift which made this hotel a must. Please have no doubts about the Mediterranean Village, you'll love it.

I would like to thank the entertainers very much. It is clear that they work very hard. I would also like to say the staff are efficient friendly and very approachable, nothing is too much for them. The children's entertainment is also excellent.

Very, very, very, very brill. Love, love love it. I was there two years in a row and am going back this year. There were four of us that went the two years ago and last year 13. This year 17 are going (family only, not including friends). I can't wait, I can't wait. I'm going with the school in October as well. Very good. Best holiday ever.
The H10 Mediterranean Village hotel is beautiful and very good. Staff friendly and entertainment very good. Love the jacuzzis on the roof - cool! Can't wait to go back! You'd be mad not to go! Good for teens like me, young children and adults!

The best entertainment I've ever had on a holiday. It was great. They were always trying to get everybody involved, even the older people. They started at ten or 11 in the morning to two and then they would have a two hour break and back at three to five. They would all then go home and and be back at 8.30 for the mini disco and then entertainment for the adults would start at 10 ten (which was excellent). When the mini disco was over two or three of the entertainers would take the children over to the play area until the adult entertainment was over. Nicest bunch of people and would always speak to the residents, even if they saw you outside the apartments.
So I would just like to thank all of them at the Mediterranean Village for making our holiday a great one and hope they will be still there when I return next year.

OOur party consisted of mum and dad, gran and grandad, two kids aged 16 and three and this hotel and resort catered for all of us. Yes, the hotel is full of kids of all ages – great, I have two of my own and if they are happy, then so am I. Find me a better hotel for a 16 year old that also is suitable for a three year old and I will gladly try it. The hotel Mediterranean Village caters for both and this is why this is our fourth visit and I will be back again. Staff, four star, entertainment staff, ten star.

I went with my husband and two children ages two and four. Was lovely hotel and spent every evening at hotel as entertainment was excellent and plenty for kids. Meals were also quite good.
The only thing I found was the self catering apartments were not that clean. The sofa was very dirty and didn't like children even sitting on it and bunk bed very close to the door which I didn't think suitable. Was very busy, lots of kids at pool so we didn't use pool until evening, but overall no major complaints, and staff quite friendly. We had asked for a pool view but ended up getting view of a concrete wall but ended up ok because front of the hotel was quite noisy at night.

I am 13 years old and have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time I stayed I was 8 and the second time I stayed for my 12th birthday. Both times were amazing.
The accommodation is great and the food is outstanding. There is loads to do and you are never bored. The night time entertainment is good for younger children but you don't have to stay in the hotel so its fine. Both pools are good but the water is too cold.
The whole resort is great too. Me and my family are coming back in June 2008 and we all can't wait. I would definitely recommend the H10 Mediterranean Village Aparthotel to a friend!

If however like me, you want some night life, staying in Salou itself, rather than Cap Salou would be better recommended. It definitely isn't the hotel for young party lovers. With saying that however, the hotel is wonderful, and very clean. Certainly no complaints!

Nice hotel situated in a quite part of Salou. A bit far away from the main resort. Hotel clean with pleasant staff.
Breakfasts were very good, however, evening meal didn't cater for the plain eater. At night there was good entertainment in the hotel for kids. The main street of Cap Salou needs one or two more shops, bars and restaurants although ?Smugglers' was a nice change (service not great). Overall the hotel was fine, the resort needs a bit more.
