The three star Best Western Florida Hotel was built in 1975 and completely refurbished in 2002. It is an historic building of a traditional architectural style located in the historic area known as El Escorial. The area has good transport connections with Madrid with trains and buses leaving every 15 minutes. It is also within easy reach of the ski resorts at Navacerrada and Valdesquí.

The Florida can accommodate 94 guests in 50 bedrooms, all outward facing and with central heating, air conditioning and balcony. There are 44 double rooms with bathroom, plus six single rooms, also with bathroom. In addition, there are four junior suites and one has its own lounge.
